Sherlock Holmes has managed to consolidate a fairly successful career as an actor, we all knew that the bastard would make it, now he's a bit dandy -I only see him as Jeremy Brett in my fair lady-, the most bohemian guy you can talk to and now he is dedicated to rejecting papers that do not seem interesting or challenging enough, some love him, others consider him suspicious, because he is so observant and always fixes on details.

From time to time he transvests and nobody is sure if he wears a corset 24/7 or not but the guy is good, so nobody complains, besides that is not so weird, like there are other more cheeky boys who do weirder things behind the scenes, oh and from time to time he talks with his "friends" cofcofloverscofcof while they inject cocaine together.

Musgrave is now a cool guy who does not act but is in charge of making the magic happen behind the scenes, because he is very shy and only seems to spend time outside work with Holmes his old friend from college but he is the one who hears about this crazy shit of The Independent Theater Society Project and persuades his good friend to join.

-With not knowing that in a few months when they are mounting Ghosts there will be a horrible murder and he will be the main suspect and his dear Holmes gonna be one too but shhh-, at the moment they are only two guys who live the madness of the London theater -that according to how little I have read had some very formal and correct things and others like burlesque and those works by Wilde, lmao-.

Watson Police Surgeon

Yes, well it happened and that's all, hahaha no, actually there is a way -and a why- between the second case: The missing duel with this fact of the previous years but that will not be said now, you just have to know that Henry Watson was murdered and who carried out the investigation independently was our beloved John H. Watson, if that went well or badly is a story for another day, what can say is the Watson's interest in crime grew exponentially and perhaps had to develop certain skills for his research, which he continued to develop after completing that case.

Watson ended up in London and decided that help to try to solve crimes was his way forward in life.

This is how we have the development of the inductive-deductive Watsonian method, focused on medicine, autopsies, maybe psychology and other details like that, Watson does not spend his time making 1000-word monographs on tobacco ashes but no doubt he has a couple of diaries on very interesting subjects.

He has a quiet life, trying to help the Scotland Yard inspectors until some crimes appear, where for his observant mind (I insist if Watson feels like it, he CAN SEE SO MUCH about the others) the answer is obvious but the steps of the Yard go in the opposite direction and are wrong, so he try to leave them subtle suggestions in the autopsy reports or in their notes so that they will open their eyes and focus on what is truly important.

Everyone ignores him for a good couple of months until Lestrade, -who in my opinion is the guy who has that, that makes him accept the help that someone else offers, because what is really important for him is to do justice- realizes that Watson has lined his report with a couple of interesting notes and in a particularly complicated case, something desperate decides to heed the notes and oh, surprise, he comes up with the correct answer.

Then a silent exchange begins, the nasty rat-faced guy is the only one who heeds Watson's advice, something a bit sad for him because that guy Gregson with fabulous hair does not do it but then they begin this secret association, so secret since no one of them talks about it.

Lestrade after having needed Watson's reports and observations to solve more than 6 really difficult cases, although with some distrust, he decides that it is time to stop playing games and may try to speak directly with Watson, so they are forging a friendship that is somewhat rare but that will work quickly, they actually have everything to get along with each other, they just need to leave their own prejudices.

YES HI THANK YOU FOR THE ASK I LOVE TO TALK ABOUT MY WRITING

so right now i am working on a number of wips and aus because i like to hop between projects. i'm going to talk about one au i haven't started yet, one au i've posted some content for, one wip i'm partway through posting, and my original project.

so i recently got VERY into riverdale and i'm currently working on two veronica lodge-centric aus, my achilles come down au (link) and my resurrection au.

acd is a series of fics exploring some possible outcomes of if veronica had attempted suicide while archie was running from hiram in early s3. i've got one fic already posted with veronica's pov on the day after if she fails but doesn't tell anyone, one super angsty fic in the works on if she sends out a note to someone, and another super angsty one about what would happen if someone found out about it later. (that last wip also features mid-crashout late s4 veronica while her dad's sick, which i'm having a lot of fun with too bwahaha)

resurrection i haven't posted anything for yet, but it's an au based on buffy s6 where veronica dies in the s3 finale and is brought back to life post-rivervale. this of course has effects on everybody, most plots, and we get a lot of fun angst! i'm currently midway through plotting this and haven't started writing yet, but at the rate my veronicangst writing is going it should be up soon.

the wip i'm partway through posting on ao3 is my buffy/mcu crossover, cry havoc (and let slip the dogs of war), and specifically my rewrite of the avengers if buffy was there, remarkable people (link). i'm having a lot of fun figuring out how buffy slots in with the other avengers, and i've been writing this fic on and off for a few years so i'm not planning on abandoning it anytime soon. right now i'm working on my own spin on the argument scene, which is the whole reason i started the fic in the first place, so once i'm done with my one millionth edit i'm super excited to get it out!

my original project is what i'm calling endless roadtrip, and it involves my ocs bailey and dove who have been mentioned a few times on my blog. it originally was going to be a fic, but i figured it would stand on its own, and i'm having a really good time building ocs to fit the story. my babies bailey and dove... i love them... i've written a little bit of stuff for it, but not a lot, and i'm mostly still in the planning stage. it won't be out anytime soon, but i'm really passionate about it, so feel free to ask me more about it anytime :)

II. Second case: (The missing duel)

There were happy nights, seeing the sky full of stars, where everyone laughed and smiled, there were days when his older brother played songs on his violin, received all kinds of compliments, everyone said that he could have a great future. John admired him, he liked to believe in Henry, he was his hero, the type of person who would do everything for you. His father had a calm and weak character at times but his mother was strong, determined and surprising.

The light illuminated their lives until ...

The first tragedy was when she died, because she did not leave alone, she took his father's heart and healing. The Watson father's became unstable, trapped in stupor, debts began to grow around him and his brother like a suffocating vine. They were the Watsons, a good last name with a respectable heritage that they wanted to keep while their neighbors began to murmur. Henry was older, so he tried to move them forward but deep down they were just two lost children.

Henry wanted to help, risking his dreams and his own ambitions, leaving the violin and childhood fantasies, deciding to put all his faith in John, wanting so much from him, because John would be a doctor and would do something to have a future while Henry remained tied to the business family. He put himself aside so bitterness slowly consumed him, until one day he began to understand why his father had taken refuge in unconsciousness.

And by the time they had lost him to his slow poisoning, the liquor was a solace to desperately clung to for Henry, along with the little watch that once belonged to the man he call father.

John never approved of it and they began to separate.

There was a friendly woman, who helped them from time to time, she was beautiful and married to an old colonel named Waburton, Henry hate him, because maybe it was his fantastic stories of crazy adventures in the far and wide world that made his little brother joined the army and wanted to leave him alone.

In reality, it was his vices and the countless times when little Watson went to rescue him from seedy bars that made him want to flee, but Henry barely remembered those incidents because he had been out of his mind when it happened, lost in alcohol, slowly destroying himself.

So there was a raging storm one night, the last they seen each other, after that night they finally parted ways.

Henry sank, he sank deeper, he ended up fighting with the wrong people, he ended up going into debt, gambling, wasting all his opportunities, poisoning his body, getting where he shouldn't, ruining the family jewels, losing his watch and getting it back, one day a telegram error told him that his younger brother had died.

And the pain did not make him fall into unconsciousness, for some reason he wanted to feel it, he wanted to suffer it, with John's words echoing in his head he realized that he needed to do something, he had to change, Henry owed that to his brother.

A few weeks later they informed him of the mistake but Henry thanked to God and decided not to back down from his new path, it was hard, it was complicated but by the time John returned with shattered nerves, he could be at the station, standing, worthy to receive is little brother.

And although he knew that financial problems were what had pushed his brother to accept his offer more than a true desire to return to his life, but Henry was determined to show that he had made a change, that he now directed his life, with the hope that maybe would make John consider forgiving him.

They were tense months, he was able to listen to his little brother's nightmares and he tried to help by playing his old instrument, there was a silent agreement about those lullabies, it was not an easy road but with time John was able to accept it, on one occasion they embraced, ah the future looked so bright, so glorious.

And Henry died.

They informed John that they found him in an alley near a seedy bar, the neighbors and all agreed that his alcoholic habits had finally led him to his doom but none of that made sense to Watson, many things went through his head but something in his heart told him that this could not be a natural death, this was not the price paid by a man who had managed to correct his path, nobody wanted to listen to him and even himself would have given up on his own strange ideas if not been for the fact that when Henry's belongings were returned to him, they told to John that the silver watch, his last family jewel, had disappeared.

Yes, well in Spanish the word "duelo" / duel refers to clearly a combat and also specifically the process (pain) that someone experiences when someone close dies, I look in the translator for the translation of the word but I don't know if the connection is the same in English, so someone can helps to know if that still makes sense?

Ah yes that infamous Au based explicitly on Without a Clue + a bunch of headcanons that don't match my vision of canon but I still like them. Today I wanted to collect my thoughts so uh ...

I. First Case- (The Gloria Scott.)

So Sherlock Holmes has a lawyer father and a mother with a lot of love for the artistic things, so since childhood there is a bit of that conflict, because at that time the artistic-bohemian world slowly separated from normal-logic-exact life and he was always in the middle, going from one place to another. Nothing very sad, just a little isolated but with many pleasant memories of a childhood in the countryside and of some holidays in France with his grandmother and his cousin, who tried to be a painter for several years, the two got along very well and they wrote letters to each other.

Yes, yes, we get to that uncertain period of his youth, with disorganized studies, being a bad student - not because he is a fool, God if Holmes is a genius! but the limitations of being in a classroom, also surely he spent several years with private tutors who had to adapt to him, instead of the other way around, so it was complicated-, he has two friends Reginald Musgrave who is with him in a small theater club and Victor Trevor, whom he knows from that incident with the dog, everything is the same from here except that it happens slower, Hudson does not appear so fast to ruin everything, so there is more time for Holmes to fall totally in love with his new friend, he knows Victor's father and for some reason he is friendly with him, he tells him that his little hobby of observation could be a career, a real profession! and he could help people. Holmes could do justice.

In addition, having spent some time without adults who believed in him - because he did not have a great school performance - Holmes is comforted to hear the encouragement of Trevor's father, there are several visits, a deeper bond, time goes on, until that happens, the event that upsets everything, Victor asks for his help and only comes to help to unearth the truth, a horrible one that changes everything, Trevor never has his bright and cheerful smile again, a more shy one is the one he dedicates sometimes but his mired in melancholy, then one day he disappears, it takes to Holmes a long time to receive a letter, an apology but the damage is done, now Holmes does not want to know more about dark family secrets and does not believe that he can deal with the pressure of discovering the mystery sometimes it can cause more damage.

So give up that ridiculous dream.

One morning a letter arrives, one that he receives satisfied, is from his cousin and Holmes does not mind abandoning his disjointed studies in chemistry and other things to accept going to the small exhibition of paintings in an artistic neighborhood in France, then Sherlock decides to stay longer, it fits so good with bohemian men, he feels alive, he mentions something insecure on one occasion that he has participated in school plays, weird and eccentric guys ask him to interpret something, he does it, they clap, they say that he has talent, he wants to believe them but the voices of those who did it one time were now muffled, but they insist and after wandering for months he thinks about it carefully, What harm is there in a play? It is harmless.

So he practice, he spend hours studying people, he uses his little hobby of observation to have a dazzling performance, he perfects various skills, to be good, he dedicates himself with care and great dedication, it makes him feel full, it is a controlled way of unraveling the mystery of humanity, the deaths are false and the pain too, it is the ideal place and where he should be ... or not?

Quiero ver más de ese infamous AU 👀

Ohhhh un anon que habla español y supongo que por ser ese infamous Au, ¡eres del fandom de Sherlock Holmes! Eso me gusta, mi chat esta abierto amigable Anon, jaja debo decir que aun me sorprende que hubiera aunque sea 1 persona a la que le guste ese Au, ¡no me mal entiendas me alegra mucho que así sea!, solo es inesperado. Mmm tiene cierto tiempo de que le agregue cositas a la publi original jajaja pero todo en inglés porque esta es una red llena de angloparlantes y no sé si viste las nuevas adhesiones así que te contare un poco más sobre las ideas vagas que van forjando ese desastre: Son dos casos -¿tres tal vez? pero no cuento mucho el otro y ahora veras el porque- en los que giraría toda la trama, el principal sería el asesinato en el teatro, el segundo la muerte de Henry Watson y el tercero es la corbeta Gloria Scott, claro el último pertenece al canon por eso es que yo no lo cuento mucho porque ya lo conoce el lector, así que realmente sobre Sherlock H. habría un montón de insinuaciones a su relación con Victor Trevor antes de esa visita veraniega- lo que paso después del dichoso caso, que realmente fijarme en el misterio como tal y hablar de él. El caso de Henry Watson se descubrirá porque aun no decido que inspector -estoy sopesando a Gregson o Athelney Jones idk- pero uno de ellos decidiera investigar a nuestro Watson porque simplemente desconfían de él, especialmente cuando se dan cuenta que a ayudado a Lestrade. ¡Termina el pobre de Watson un poco en el medio del fuego cruzado de inspectores que no tienen la mejor relación entre sí!, incluso su caso del teatro se vera frecuentemente interrumpido porque lo estarán espiando. Y el caso del teatro es más simple -en como se presentara al lector-, es solo Watson aliándose con Holmes, en un primer reencuentro muy peculiar. Y probablemente cometerán muchos crímenes jajaja aunque accidentalmente, Watson de verdad intenta no hacer nada ilegal, él no es así pero Holmes es tan bohemio en esta versión y casi no respeta la ley que hay poco en donde no se meta para intentar limpiar su nombre aunque muchas de estas acciones no le ayudan -al inicio- y de hecho va a terminar en prisión por unos días hasta que Watson lo saque a escondidas, no es que Sherlock sea tonto en esta versión -por mucho que este Au este ligeramente basado en Without a Clue-, solo que no es Sherlock Holmes el tipo que escribió una monografía sobre 140 tipos de cenizas y no sabe casi boxear jaja sin embargo tiene muchas cosas para compensarlo y dios él de verdad nació para ser detective así que hay varias cosas que se le dan con cierta facilidad.

Sobre el teatro: Aunque muchas ideas siguen siendo vagas el asesinato del teatro puede estar envuelto con una versión muy dramática sobre la puesta en escena de Espectros (Obra de Henrik Ibsen) por la Independent Theatre Society que fue algo así como una organización exclusiva-privada de teatro que podían poner en escena obras que habían sido prohibidas por la oficina de Lord Chamberlaind en esa época y justo Espectros (Ghost's en inglés) fue una de sus primera obras. En general creo que hay algo genial e irresistible sobre Holmes un dandy-claramente homosexual-muy inteligente y siempre de moral gris, siendo parte del club, además creo que eso explicaría porque el número de sospechosos se reduciría tan dramáticamente a Holmes & un grupo de conocidos suyos e íntimos. Sobre la imagen "La venganza de la musa", siento que puede dar una idea sobre el crimen & los motivos, lo problemático hasta el momento es que tengo que hacer ocs y eso implica hilar un montón de personalidades-historias y no es un trabajo rápido, aunque ya tengo algunos nombres. Solo como dato curioso: Irene nee Adler no aparecerá probablemente pero es muy plausible que ella y Holmes se conozcan en este contexto pero solo son amigos que solían travestirse juntos hasta que ella se fue de luna de miel con su bello esposo Godfrey Norton y nunca volvió (? Sobre los Watson: Henry fue envenenado y el reloj será de hecho la prueba determinante para que se descarte una muerte natural y se reconozca como un homicidio, aclarado esto, dicho reloj va a estar desaparecido por mucho tiempo cuando encuentren el cadaver y es una de las señales que hacen que John quiera investigar por su cuenta. Todo ocurrirá probablemente en Edimburgo, Escocia. La madre de Enid Storner va a parecer y ella es de India. (en caso de que no sepas quien es, en la versión para teatro de la banda moteada, Doyle hizo varios cambios, entre ellos hacer que el caso llegue de mano de Watson y este conociera a la madre y a las victimas del Dr. Roylott desde antes). (? La locura del coronel Warburton & el personaje serán detallados a fondo. También habrá mucho sobre los efectos del estrés postraumático-la búsqueda de una razón de ser para este Watson joven y la insinuación de que en ese momento no usaba bigote (de verdad Gregson / Jones tardaran mucho en encontrar su expediente por ese detalle, estaba irreconocible xD). Muy para el final se vera cómo es que Stoke Moran & Sebastián Moran están relacionados.

Chapter 3

Creating and holding the 'Rainbow Bridge - Bifrost' took almost all of their power. Just enough to keep them from being able to use any and all abilities, and strip away certain masks. Not that Brave would appear to mind beyond the immediate embarrassment.

Chapter one

Warmth and Fur

Brave from As Chaos Demands, and Crow from Daedalus Rising.  Fix mix.

When it's 'that' time of year again, Brave finds a way to get through to him.

It was that time of year again, she noted grimly.

Crow, against how many saw him, had gone quiet over the past week, regardless of what any tried to do to alleviate his mood.  He'd stare at the kids, and he'd look at her strangely, and he'd apologise for the most inoffensive things.

And now, he'd holed himself into his room, and hadn't come out for hours.

It wasn't like this was new behaviour - the first year she'd spent with him, she'd panicked, thinking something was drastically wrong, and had called up Crow's old teammates, hoping that they'd have an answer.  She just hadn't expected the answer she'd been told.

This, they said, was about the time when Crow had died.  This was when he'd once said he'd thrown himself off a bridge because he couldn't look after the ones he loved.  This was when he'd come back wrong, with a dark god in his head and his deck.

This was when, several years ago but still fresh in his mind, Crow had become a Dark Signer, and nearly killed them all.

They'd long since forgiven him, true, but Crow... never forgot, and despite how he acted most of the time, it seemed like he hadn't forgiven himself, either. 

Brave thought it was stupid.  From what they'd said, it wasn't exactly his fault, and he'd been influenced - he wasn't being himself.  But at the same time... if she'd done something like that, she wasn't sure that she would be any different.

At first, she'd been at a loss.  Even knowing what she did didn't help all that much.

And then, one day, she just happened to come back into the house as a fox, cleaning her paws before going further in - it wasn't good to give the kids a bad example - and had just laid flat out on top of Crow's legs as he was sitting on the sofa.

At the time, she hadn't realised he'd been stressed, just that it felt so good when he stroked her fur, and that she liked the laugh he made when she barked from being happy. Then he'd later told her how much better it'd made him feel, and she'd decided to try it again.

She went through several animals, soft, warm, ones that cuddled and petted well, and when he was in a down mood she'd go up and just... sit there.  Sometimes the effect wouldn't take long, sometimes it'd take longer, but it nearly always helped. 

It wasn't long before she used the new technique on the others as well - the kids loved it, although it often left her sore from fur pulling and ears and tail being tugged, but the pain was worth it to see smiles on their faces.

So now, at least, she knew what to do, or what might work.

The human opened the lock, and the cat nudged the door open.  The one with the big orange hair was going through his decks on the bed, and the cat leapt up, careful not to send any flying.  At first, this wasn't noticed, but when the cat started headbutting the human's hands, demanding to be noticed now, and still nothing... turned around, looked carefully between the two decks laid out, and sat decisively on one of them, before starting to lick its paws.

"O-oi- whad'ya think you're doing?!"

The cat stared up at him.

He sighed.

"Yeah, yeah..."

Cat-Brave, green eyes still looking up at him, got up from the cards, and walked just-so into his lap instead, where it was decided that it would be a good place to stay for a while.

It didn't matter much, that he just kept doing what he was doing.  That he didn't smile or laugh even now.  But she found that his hand found her fur after a while, and then started stroking it, and she couldn't help purring, curled up in her human's scent.

Things would be all right again, at least there was that.  They'd just have to weather the storms when they came.
