Cassandra Wayne usually doesn’t get kidnapped. Not like her brothers do. Mostly because she makes good decisions when it comes to her civilian life. Bruce usually doesn’t have to worry about her. But when one group of thugs gets a lucky snatch on Bruce Wayne’s only daughter, Bruce and the rest of the family find themselves scrambling to get her back. Cass, on the other hand, is scrambling to find her patience so she doesn't die of boredom.
Hi I’m obsessed with this fic?? It has soft batdad and Cass trying to act like she’s just a regular civilian who’s getting kidnapped but her acting is too good so the batfam believes she’s hurt. Also, protective bros Jason and Dick 🥺

“Would you like to- Hmm.” Bruce couldn't seem to find the right words. “There's a... Well, there's a small tradition that I have with all of the boys, from when they were smaller.”
“Oh, yeah?” Duke feigned disinterest. “Well I'm not exactly small these days, but I'm open to anything.”
“We could go get some ice cream?” He offered, and this has to be one of the most awkward conversations Duke has ever had the pleasure of being a part of, but he can't help but be touched by the gesture. He must have done this with all of the Robins, and well, for want of a better word it's nearly sweet that he wants to do it with Duke too.
SO basically this fic is actually perfection, there, I said it. There's really never enough Duke-centric fics and this one is one of my favorites. It perfectly displays how Bruce can be a dad to Duke even while Duke technically has parents. All of his parents and siblings mean a lot to him. Also, awkward!batdad talking about his kids and being a Good Dad. It's all around a fun time :D

I LOVE this fic omg, it explores Duke getting his powers but it’s set at a batfamily get-together so Duke goes into panicc mode trying to hide his powers from Bruce and the fam. Lots of Batsiblings and Batdad being worried + hurt/comfort. Definitely an amazing read!!

His first major goal? Bettering his relationships with his kids, one at a time.
AKA: Bruce plans a bonding activity with each of his kids and generally makes a fool of himself. He thinks it might be worth it though, in the end.
This is part of a series, technically, but it can be read as a standalone (BUT YOU SHOULD READ THE FIRST FIC AS WELL AHHH) anyway it’s six chapters, and each chapter is Bruce bonding with a different batkid. There’s some minor angst but for the most part it’s awkward!batdad trying to connect with his children after realizing he’s been neglecting to reach out to them. This really is a spectacular fic and I find myself gravitating to it every time I’m in need of some batfam. Most of the main batkids show up in this and they each get one-on-one time with their pseudo/adoptive/bio dad, and it’s so perfectly characterized.

*screams* this is one of my favorite Bruce and Jason fics, it’s a mix of hurt and comfort and fluff and Bruce being a good dad when he discovers Jason is the Red Hood (screw you canon). Lots of hugs and reveals abound, and it’s super soft 🥺
