I just ran into someone on TikTok frustrated that the claimed Aro/Ace rep in the DND movie books is not as claimed:
This section hasn’t been revised yet, but some version will stay and I hope I’m a lot more clear about it. Shavn is Ace.

Shavn sighed in relief as he heaved himself to his feet. White Goddess or Empress aside, that he could answer easily enough. “What, did you fall asleep before I finished?”
“No, I wanted to know what happened to Horne and the Prince afterward. Are there stories about that?”
“Ah.” He dug his fingers into a knot in his muscles, trying to work it out, and then bought more time trying to pop the crick out of his neck. “That’s a little less neat. Hrothgar goes on to become king in his own right. Horne serves him faithfully for a number more years but then it gets a bit ugly. Hrothgar chooses others over Horne, and Horne is turned to stone and left behind.”
Alala shouldered her bag and scowled at him. “That’s rather dire.”
“Well, there’s some stories that he was revived a hundred years on and gave himself a new name. There’s also one variation that Horne went on to wed a man who could become a bull but those tend to attract a particular type of retelling I admit I rarely sit through.”
Alala’s eyebrows rose steeply, and he could all but see how her fox ears would have perked to match. Then she laughed, color flooding to her cheeks and humor partially, if temporarily, erasing the dark circles under her eyes from the long night.
“I think I’ll be kind and not ask for details.” She chuckled. Shavn snorted.
“I appreciate that, though I probably wouldn’t tell you anyway.”
“Oh, that’s where you draw a line? Are you afraid I’ll be offended by a tumble-ballad?” She looked both amused and disapproving at the thought.
“No, I won’t tell you because I tend not to sit through them. I’m just… it’s not something…” He fumbled, blushed furiously in embarrassment at his own struggles. “It’s not for me.”
“No bulls?” She teased, but her tone was gentle. “No one.” His reply was more curt than he liked. He’d almost never had to defend that trait about himself, but the twice he had were memorable.

CLARIONS DRAGONS:
It's just supposed to be a diplomatic mission to try and arrange a marriage between the crown Prince of the Glass Coast, Donal; and the Queen of the tiny island of Ostos, formerly a terrifying force known for dragons that are, everyone knows, now extinct.
Desdemona of Ostos however has no particular interest in marrying Donal, and Donal doesn't like hearing the word 'no'. Not from Desdemona, and not from his own father.
With little chance he's going to be able to keep the prince in -line-, it will be sufficient challenge to keep him Alive, and hope that they aren't dragged into a war out of his charges need for power and desire for wealth, and it may be a high cost to try and achieve that end. That's without Queen Desdemona's unusual interest in Clarion himself, for reasons he can't begin to guess at, and strange rumors about the real power of the nobles of Ostos and it's extinct dragons and very alive monsters.
