The ending of the last RWBY episode really annoyed me. Like I know that it is meant to create drama and to show Cinder’s plan starting, but it makes no sense. We know as a viewer of the how some of the relative distances of things in the Vytal Festival arena. It’s shown through the tournament that team RWBY sits in the front row not that far from the stage. In previous matches we see characters also in the front or second row looking straight at the stage not at the monitor screens. (Cinder, Velvet during the CFVY fight, etc). If people looked at the stage during fights where there was strange terrain it doesn’t make sense for at least team RWBY to be looking at the stage. However, given their shocked reaction to Yang justifiably hitting Mercury it seems like they were not looking at the stage, but rather the projected screen.
The other thing that bothered me about this scene is that if the Atlas military officers were able to get to stage to stop Yang so quickly wouldn’t that mean that they have people on the ground as well watching directly. Meaning, that they would contest the screen image that shows Yang attacking Mercury.
Lastly, it seems that both the image of Mercury and Yang were altered. If Yang hit Mercury’s knee while he was doing a flying kick there’s no way that’s the same angle as Yang attacking Mercury helpless on the ground to sustain the same injury. It makes me wonder what would have happened if Yang dodged instead of attacking.
Things I Say While Watching Naruto
My gaybies
I hate this show
I fucking hate this show
I can’t believe this was aimed to children
These kids are only twelve
Ninjas are training child soldiers
Twelve year olds are prepared to die/commit suicide.
Like WTF
This is a nicely framed transition.
They’re gonna get married.
That’s your future in law
As I get older I start to like anime more. In my younger days I loved manga and highly disliked watching anime. Now I take it on a series by series basis.
That said right now I’m dying on the inside finished: Sound Euphonium, caught up with Soul Catchers, and watched Kids on the Slope (anime now reading the manga). Anyone have music anime/manga recs? I’m running out
shoutout to the gay squad at davis for getting thru their second year! miss u all so much!!!
ahh yes I love watching potato definition anime from the early 2000s because the mouths are tiny and everything is so grainy that you can’t even tell who’s talking and what facial expressions are being made

Hahahahaha yesssss. And then the world would be overrun by the feral gem monsters and the gem homeworld would probably take over again. Such misery. Much sad. Someone should write a fic about this
go away i did not ask for this why must you two do this to me
acerbictomes answered: I don’t think it’d work underwater? Since a lot of the tech the Gems have is music/dance-based. IDK tho canon doesn’t really specify.
Yeah see my first thought was "gems don't need air-->gems function just as well underwater-->gem technology works just as well underwater" but I forgot about how sometimes it is more magic than science, thank you.
