Mermay Doodles Woohoo! Not full renders, but they’re still really cute. I really liked Lena’s pose, but for the life of me, I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do with the arms. I’m slowly getting back into the swing of drawing regularly.

Wow! This is a really long update for something that was supposed to be low maintenance. I didn’t expect it to be more pages than Tumblr can handle... Depending on how the Holiday Break is, I may or may not need to take a week off because boy was this update a bit more than I bargained for. However, it did teach me that I can definitely do normal updates on time so I need to stop being such a wimp and just do them.

Happy Birthday Acethexis! | Acethexis | Patreon | Ko-Fi | I didn’t have anything set up for Acethexis’s 2nd birthday because I’ve been quite busy, so I just picked out some of my favorite illustrations as well as favorite panels over the course of the comic’s life. 

Thank you guys so much for sticking with me all this time and through all the delays. I have a lot of self discipline issues that I’m still trying to work through, and with college adding to the work load, I’m still working on trying to find a good rhythm. Thankfully, the art’s been improving in quality and consistency so I want to keep that up!

Just once again, thank you guys so much for sticking with me so far! I love reading your comments and seeing people enjoy what I do. It really makes me love making my comic even more. You’re all the best and I hope that you all have a great day.

Pastel Stars

I recently realized that I don't have a lot of "fun" Acethexis art. It's all "This has to be perfect because this is for my comic and it's promotional art" art. So! I had fun and doodled a thing that didn't need to make sense and finished it.

Bad News Guys...

I've decided that with finals coming up and transitioning into Chapter 6, it'll be best to put my Patreon and Acethexis on pause. I need to plan for Chapter 6, and I have no idea how long that's going to take with finals and school wrapping up in a month. I've been pushing out late updates already, so perhaps it'll just be for the best for me to take a break and get settled back into Acethexis and figure out what the heck I'm doing now that I've run out of material to go autopilot on.

I want to thank you guys so much for your support thus far. It means the world to me. I always feel horrible when I have late updates, but I always get comments reassuring me that everyone cares far more about my health and the quality of the pages than the quantity. I still want to do better and get out more punctual updates, but for right now, that's not possible. When school comes around in the autumn, however, I'll definitely have a better plan figured out.

As for how long this hiatus will last, I'm not sure. I'm thinking that it'll be a month or two, but I'll give a more accurate update in a few weeks. I'm just burnt out and busy and I need to figure out where I'm driving this bus.
