when i read game of thrones level budget for merlin... just i m a g i n e... alyssa u truly astral projected
══════════════════
ngl just thinking about it made me black out 😳 like i love how campy merlin is now but if it had a better budget????? i’d literally never shut up about it and that’s saying something because i haven’t been able to shut up about merlin for a decade
⭐ maybe abt the most heartbreaking part of a fic uve ever written?
FROM : WE’LL BE A FINE LINE (WE’LL BE ALRIGHT)
He wondered what other lies he swallowed that had been force fed down his throat as truth. Did Merlin really think him that dumb? That untrustworthy?
The worst thing was about all of it was that Arthur still craved those lies again, just to feel whole again. Like he was cared for. Loved, he thought softly.
so this.... this RUINED me. imagine this: it’s 2am in the morning, i’m listening to the saddest songs & im trying to get into arthur’s headspace and suddenly this comes out of you. what i loved about this was how heart wrenching it felt to be arthur because he loves merlin and he wishes to go back in time to feel like his whole world wasn’t changed by merlin’s magical reveal. god i could talk about these lines for HOURS
ask for the “director’s commentary” on a particular story, section of a story, or set of lines OR send in a ⭐ to have the author select a section they’ve been dying to talk about!

12, 19!
12. did you enjoy any compulsory high school readings?
I loved Down and Out in Paris and London by George Orwell, I was also introduced to Sylvia Plath who I adore.
19. most disliked popular books?
A court of mist and fury - that kind of YA Fantasy. I just really can’t get behind it. I actively dislike them. I’ve also never been able to connect with Jane Austen’s writing style even while I love her as a person and the stories she made (love the movies).
