I’m still not super clear about this detail, as in, what kind of monster did it, but whilst making her way through the ruins, a monster spat acid in her face, permanently disfiguring her and destroying her vision.

“I just snuck a water bottle filled with vodka into my morning class. Either I’m making the best of a shit situation, or I’m becoming my mother,” Flynn deadpanned, taking a swig of the water bottle before lifting it in offering to the other, shaky fingers crunching it slightly. Truth be told, Flynn was holding himself together by sheer distraction. If he were to remove the soggy bandaid and let the raw underbelly of the feelings and memories he’d hastily covered up in the face of the Spring Break trip be uncovered, he wasn’t sure he’d be able to pull himself back together. A wry smirk tugging at his lips, his onyx eyes flicked up to meet his companion’s. “So, you sleeping with one eye open now? May as well. Granted, that’d make it easier to pour acid into. Shoutout to Katya, I guess. Cheers!” Raising the water bottle in toast, he took another gulp of vodka, swishing it in his mouth a couple of times before swallowing it.

8/14/17 Concept sketches for my character I still don't have a name for... She created her own martial arts style from traditional dance because her family couldn't afford to have her learn advanced martial arts (but she had a neighbor who was a former professional dancer who taught her for free). She later learned traditional judo and other styles, and added those principles inter her fighting style. She's very "body smart," she's a gifted fighter and dancer. She was scarred on the face in an acid attack in her youth, and while she still dances, she's also kind of a superhero and wears a full face mask and costume (partially shown in bottom image). Her hero codename is Wildflower. She's part of a group I'm planning to post more on later, called the Forgotten Ones.

that black woman in the "deceptive make up and weave" tweet is also a burn victim, i think she was burnt with acid or something like that

oh wow really? that would definitely explain her scars, but how incredibly sad eh? and are you saying this was an acid attack or an acid accident? do you or anyone else have any link for that?
