Going through some older stuff and realized these two never made it to the ol hellsite - both were for a Star Wars fan art show a friend hosted few years ago, I guess I felt the need to flex by submitting a holiday special piece 😂

"I just came in here for a drink… and I found a lot more."

One of the legit highlights of The Holiday Special is the Tatooine segment. The song is a bit painful, but made tolerable by the magnificent Bea Arthur.
Ackmena and Krelman deserve their own show. Episodic. What craaaaazy situation will happen this week in the cantina?! By the season finale Krelman wins Ackmena's heart. And they help save the galaxy by helping the rebellion somehow (a terrible duet perhaps?).
HAPPY LIFE DAY!
...We'll see you next year. ;^)

It wasn’t under the tree 🎄again this year
Harvey Korman and Bea Arthur - Star Wars Holiday Special (1978)
Krelman was a resident of Mos Eisley, on Tatooine, and a patron of Chalmun’s Cantina. Krelman was infatuated with Ackmena, the night bartender, pursuing her affection. Somewhat theatrical in his demonstrations of love, Ackmena let Krelman down gently. Krelman’s species was distinguishable for drinking from a hole on top of the head.

to whoever took the character played by BEA ARTHUR in the star wars holiday special and decided to make her one of the very few canon queer characters in star wars: thank you
