I’ve seen this dialogue a hundred times by now, probably, but I never commented on it. But man, every time I do, I think, nah, it’s probably not a paranormal hot spot, because those don’t exist, you know? Like, ghosts and stuff? Sorry, those don’t exist.

But in the world of Animal Crossing, they do! Wisp the ghost! He’s a ghost and he’s real and he PULLS WEEDS FOR YOU. So, um, maybe this IS a paranormal hot spot. It’s impossible to ever, ever know.

Leopold is going to cozy up with a best friend, a special someone, and a cup of coffee tomorrow. What a guy. What a winner. I’m so jealous of how strong, smart, and cool he is.

The first three personality types talking to me about Explorer’s Day: Peppy, Jock, and Smug. I had to mix and match Zell’s dialogue with Leopold’s because of what screenshots I had (or rather, didn’t have) handy, but you get the idea.

I’d love to make a bunch of jokes about all of them, but I’m gonna keep it real with you guys. I just don’t care all that much.

I don’t know what “vesperum” means, and, even though it’s 100% clear from context, I still want an option to demand that he tell me immediately. I ain’t having any of that junk where I just nod and smile and assume that I know he means “good evening,” even though he does, he obviously does, he needs to tell me that, I need to hear him say it directly “Oh, that means ‘good evening.’”

Some Nature day conversations from different animals. I got everybody but Snooty types, since only one appeared all day and didn’t say anything Nature-Day-related.

It doesn’t matter. Nobody said anything really amazing or impressive, anyway, and probably said the same things they said last year. That is part of life.
