Pinky was the first animal to talk to me about Jack’s Creepy Castle, which is cool and all, I guess, but she kind of points out the exact same problem that I have with it. It’s really only good for Halloween! It’s gonna feel weird to have it on display in, like, April Kind of like the snowboarding half-pipe from long, long ago. It just doesn’t make sense during the wrong times of year.

Well, anyway. I guess it’s fine. The animals aren’t gonna complain, that’s for sure.

The first three personality types talking to me about Explorer’s Day: Peppy, Jock, and Smug. I had to mix and match Zell’s dialogue with Leopold’s because of what screenshots I had (or rather, didn’t have) handy, but you get the idea.

I’d love to make a bunch of jokes about all of them, but I’m gonna keep it real with you guys. I just don’t care all that much.

Jacques was having a bad dream about someone de-alphabetizing his comics, which, I mean, not a huge deal for you or me, I guess, but it really had him shaken up. Meanwhile, Pinky was sitting on the fountain and having a great time, blissfully unaware of the misery Jacques was experiencing directly in her field of vision. Come on, Pinky. Get it together and start helping people.

I set up all five of the new animals’ requested items at the same time, to save myself the hassle of putting them out one by one to get the prizes from them. To my great disappointment, the double-necked guitar, sound mixer, and DJ’s turntable are all “used” by animals standing in front of them and thrusting out both arms at once. I was hoping to see somebody actually play that guitar! To put their hands on those little sliders and discs! But no, they just do the generic “use” animation.

It’s true, what they say: life is pain.

This really just makes me think of celebrities whose doctors give them medication to help them sleep, like the dude who accidentally killed Michael Jackson. Remember that guy? I mean, either of them. Remember either Michael Jackson or the guy who killed him?

I’m just saying that Pinky would probably be better off learning how to handle her own sleep. Because otherwise some dude might accidentally kill her.

After many days of sending Gulliver on three trips a day, I FINALLY got the fifth pink villager, Pinky. I noticed that she was a different theme than the other new pink villagers, so I wonder if it’s common for her to be found last. Wouldn’t be hard to find out, but I won’t bother.

By this point, Truffles was already level 10! That’s how long this took. It’s ridiculous. But hey, I gained a level, too, so I can only complain so much.
