Josh came to an abrupt halt in his run, coming to the conclusion that he was now a safe distance from the school. Things had proven far too hectic today, and even the normally calm boy had been pushed over the edge with the incredibly negative atmosphere that hung around the school.
His mind was concentrating more on where he could go. He could go home but that was where his dad would look for him first. He could go to the coffee shop but spending hours in a rather dull place would bore him easily. The library or the park seemed to be the only option. Given the miserable weather, Josh decided it fit to go to the library.
He turned, only to be looking straight into the eyes of a tall woman. Was she a teacher? Had he been followed? Josh gulped.
