He followed sluggishly behind, leaning on the banister in order to support his half collapsed frame. He inhaled deeply, biting back a large yawn, and carrying on.
Liam watched from the top of the stairs, smiling a little. He knew that…
Liam smiled sympathetically, crouching down next to him, taking one of his hands into his. “C’mon, you can’t stay here. We’re almost there, babe. How are you even this tired, anyway? You’ve been sleeping for at least half of the day. You sure must love your sleep.”
"Mmm..." He nodded, standing up once more with the aid of Liams hand.
“Doesn’t sound so boring to me” Alex smiled. “Oh I have another question. Are there any hotels close by? I need somewhere to stay tonight”
He shook his head. “Hotels… hm…” There weren’t any hotels, of what he knew, around this area, but there was one option. “You can stay at mine if you want?”
Alex blinked his cheeks heating up. “W-Would that be okay? I am a stranger after all…”
"It's fine." He smiled.
Josh & Liam.

Liam watched from the top of the stairs, smiling a little. He knew that he shouldn’t really be smiling at Josh being like that, but he found it quite cute. “Nearly there babe.”
Josh yawned, rubbing his eyes as he managed the last few steps before softly falling to his knees with a quite groan of annoyance.

Josh & Liam.
Liam went to the stairs, walking up them at a slow pace. He was tired, so he really didn’t have any energy to speed up at all. His eyes were actually almost falling close, and he was forcing himself to keep them open.

“Um, my names Alex Wick. I come from a family of five siblings. I left home two years ago and um haven’t been back since” he told the other.
Josh nodded, “I see…”, he sat back, smiling at the other.

"What about you? Tell me about your family" he says smiling back.
"Josh Stevenson, single child, dad's a teacher at WR, mother- I don't know." He shrugged. "Boring life."
Josh & Liam.
Josh paused, listening to the others words. “I-..” He murmured, unsure of how to reply to what he had said. “I am..” He whispered, hoping it was only loud enough for him to hear.
Liam nodded slowly, it made him sad to know what Josh was thinking of himself. He wouldn’t bother telling Josh about how perfect he is right now, though, because he’d done that many times throughout the duration of the last few days. “So.. let’s get to bed.”
The teenager nodded and turned around, his emerald eyes set on the floor. He knew Liam was thinking bad of how he saw himself, but even if he verbally agreed, he would mentally think the same.

I'm still me.: Josh & Liam.
Liam nodded standing up himself, switching the TV off in the process. "I can tell that you don't want me to pick you up because you're scared, babe. I don't think you're heavy at all, but that's my opinion."
Josh paused, listening to the others words. "I-.." He murmured, unsure of how to reply to what he had said. "I am.." He whispered, hoping it was only loud enough for him to hear.

Josh looked up from where he was curled up in an arm chair, the sleepiness clear in his dim emerald eyes. The teenager blinked, as if his vision was blurry, before letting his head fall back onto the arm. He gave a small groan, his body preparing itself to be hauled off of the chair and- probably straight onto the floor.
Liam sat up, smiling sympathetically at the younger teenage boy. He truly looked exhausted. “Are you sure you’re actually able to walk up them stairs? You look- you look like you’re gonna pass out.” He chuckled a little. “I could carry you? You’re light enough.”
Josh shook his head, he didn't want the other to pick him up. It still scared him. "I'm... fine.." He gave a soft smile before forcing himself to stand, leaning on the chair arm for a few moments before taking a few steps.
Alex brightened up a little. “Great! Um I mean cool… Uh…” He trailed off embarrassed.
Josh giggled, the others excitement was really admirable. “Excited?” He smiled.
“Uh, I really quite awkward with social situations” he chuckled.
Alex flushed and ordered their food and drinks when the waiter came back.
The teenager leant forward, his head in his hands. "So- are you going to tell me more about yourself?"

For the whole week, the only thing he had done was working around schools, even though Owen was under the orders of Torchwood, when the hospitals needed him to do visits to a few places. The brunette would immediately do it, since he couldn’t deny his duty as a doctor. Checking the health of all those kids, one by one, he was fortunate to have a few assistant to help him around and to make the job a bit more easier, since the schools were usually quite big and he didn’t have enough time to do everything. For this first week he had checked so far two schools. And this was his third one that he had going on. As the man exited the small room in which he had been examining the students, still wearing that white medical lab coat on him, hands hidden in the depth of the large pockets that the same coat had to offer to him. He wandered a bit around, since it was his break. Lunch break. But, it seemed as if he could forget about his small break when his eyes caught a small silhouette laying against the wall. Owen ran towards the person, it was a young man, and he seemed sick, or at least in a pretty bad shape.
☁ ’ Kid are you alright ? ’ the man asked as checking his pulse and his eyes, the pupils were dilated, he had an attack or something.
Clicking his tongue, the man took the young man on his back and carried him to the room in which he had been spending the biggest part of his day. And he placed him on the bed, and started to fetch for some medicines. The symptoms were familiar, but what kind of sickness could he have ? No ideas, so Owen would have to figure out it all by himself, unless the boy would be able to tell him what he needed.
Josh gasped as he was lifted from the ground, momentarily slipping out of consciousness as it seemed as though the Earth itself was being pulled away from him. The men were coming. Their towering bodies looming over him as he was carried into a room; at least this place was vaguely familiar, but the air was still dangerous.
The person who had moved him, he was wearing white, tall, male. "No!" He whimpered, clambering off of the bed and into the far corner. He was one of them. Wasn't he? But- he had a face. He wasn't as tall as the beings that haunted him from afar, peering in the door and chuckling at his fear. "Go away!" He cried out, abruptly hitting a tray of glass needles before sliding down the wall and onto the floor, gaze flickering from his bleeding hand to the man.
Alex brightened up a little. “Great! Um I mean cool… Uh…” He trailed off embarrassed.
Josh giggled, the others excitement was really admirable. “Excited?” He smiled.
“Uh, I really quite awkward with social situations” he chuckled.
Josh smiled, "You're not...", in all honesty, he found it rather appealing when someone showed their excitement, even though he himself tried to avoid doing so, it made the other seem more sociable and friendly something he liked, but couldn't always be.

Robert realised the teenager was in no state to talk at the moment, and Robert was feeling insensitive due to the questions he’d bee asking. He thought about leaving, but the nagging feeling that he’d come here for a reason was eating away at at the back of his mind. He’d forgotten his reason to visit the school, splendid, but not very surprising. So after a few moments in silence, Robert had to ask anyway. “Did I tell ya’ why I go’ here?”
Josh opened his eyes, "You said... you said something about going here... here when you were younger,.. and wanted to find some.... some information or whatever..." He murmured slightly thankful the other had spoken, if he hadn't, the tired boy would have fallen asleep at the table. The feeling of being sleepless for days was slowly wrapping its fingers around Josh's ability to make sense of what was real or what was a dream- wait... "Shit..."
Josh & Liam.
The next few hours seemed to fly by, making it seem like only minutes ago they were eating pizza when in reality, it was now nearly eleven at night. Liam was lounging on the couch, his eyes starting to feel heavy. “H-Hey, babe, maybe you should think about getting some sleep?”
