Boyfriend got a plate to hold his clavicle together recently and when he was coming out of anesthesia kept beating himself up about not remembering all the nurses names and saying he felt “wacky” and then sang “Totoro” really loud.

that is like the cutest anaesthesia reaction... what a nice person he must be in his subconscious! i just became an asshole by the sounds of it. apparently about 15 minutes after i came out of surgery, they sent over two medical students to ask me questions one after the other. the first one asked me things like, "so why are you here today?" and, "and how come you had that surgery?" and, "when did you start getting symptoms?" at which point I just stopped answering him. then they sent the second one over who came and said "you don't look so good today", to which I replied "thanks a lot", and then called my mum and brother over and asked them, "can you please tell the doctors to stop sending me fucking idiots?"

I love to compare oz and xander because xander is just so terrible

i hate falling in friend-love with fictional characters! it makes me so sad and full of longing. oz would be a really great friend. he’d be so nice to hang out with. a good hang-out-in-the-same-room-and-do-nothing-together person. and just someone to go to for a hug or some friend advice or gentle discussions about the world. hnnnnng.

IKR??? If it weren't totally impractical to use them (they're so small and delicate also almost 100 years old :|) I would use them EVERY DAY. They're such a great size. I'll just have to figure out a way to display them.
