Just a random thought: I am so happy that Edvin was among such talented actors in ALW! I think it is very important that he got to be a part of such a series based on real-life events and portrayed in a nuanced way. He showcased his talent but he is not the only talented actor there! The people around you can lower your talent level as well as uplift it.

All of them are very good at playing their characters. From the four main ones to Johan, Sandra, Teodora, Alena, and Lazar (the father who has a daughter with asthma)! I think the casting team did a really good job!

Olympic Audience Actors...???

I think that Japan is missing out on a huge employment opportunity at the upcoming Olympic Games. Limited spectators will now only be allowed to clap, wave or speak quietly to be Covid safe. No cheering or yelling out.

Instead of spectators, out of work actors and extras could be employed to populate venues. Their actions could be accurately directed (actors are used to this). Audience support roles for each country’s athletes could be assigned so that all competitors have someone in the crowd rooting for them. Less popular events would get an audience.

The paid audience actors could be kept in a ‘bubble’ to mitigate Covid infection problems and a whole heap of pandemic devastated performing artists could have employment and purpose for a couple of weeks. While minimising Covid infection risk to the general population.

Accessible ways to get into acting as a beginner.

Acting doesn't have to be inaccessible. If you're just getting started, here are some of the places to look for your first credits as an actor.

The Hallmark film “Unlocking Christmas” was my first time on set as a background performer (Well, it was my first time on a set ever). The original airdate was December 13th, 2020, but I just saw it tonight. Here are a few screen shots of some of the scenes I made it into.
