LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE (2026)
dev. by rebecca sonnenshine
I tried to search and backtrack on your lovely blog, but tumblr’s is a mess about that. So, please, what are main reasons we think Edvin might be cast as Luca Haas? I have Tierney-Edvin insta follow, building muscles until August for a role, liking hockey posts and now Hudson’s post – what else an I missing?
Hello lovely anon! 🫶
These are the things we have taken as hints: Luca Haas is a European guy with a baby face/soft look. (Edvin is European). Jacob-Edvin mutual follows. Edvin saying he is prepping for a secret project in August. Edvin liking HR S2 stuff. Now Edvin liking Hudson's post without even following him.
Edvin liking Hudson's latest post
Well, he is dropping new hints that he is in HR!
💫💫💫
Edvin, follow Connor and Hudson already! We know it, baby boy.
One issue the fandom has with fancasting Harris is that people always pick actors with a muscular build, never a "heavy" one even though that’s how he’s described in the book: sort of a "bear" type. Neither Greg nor Rob fits that stereotype; in fact, the idea of casting Greg as Harris is facing some pushback on twitter. However, I could see either of them playing Watt. An interesting clue would be knowing who’s playing Troy and seeing who has exchanged follows on ig. After all, if the actors have already been cast, the chemistry read must have happened by now. I’d expect them to be following each other—just like Huddy and Connor did—especially if they’re playing a romantic couple.
Hey Hey!
I totally get that, but I get Harris' vibe from Rob Naylor. If he stops going to the gym for a while for the role, his face and vibe match Harris Drover, me thinks.
Wyatt, on the other hand, is a blonde dude who is a nerd:
"The first person Ilya spotted in the parking garage at the arena was Wyatt Hayes, who was just getting out of his army-green Jeep Wrangler. It had a Green Lantern logo on the tire cover on the back because Hazy was a fucking nerd."
"Wyatt fell into stride with Ilya as they walked through the garage. He was about Ilya’s height—maybe an inch shorter—with curly blond hair and a wide mouth that almost never frowned."
I am not sure if either of them fits the role.
I think Charles Gillespie is Troy Barrett.
But me and a friend here think it might be played by Robert Naylor 👀 //
Why?
Because of the IC's recent follows
Greg Vardy is rumoured to play Harris, he even posted about it
Yeah, I have seen that. Maybe he did the audition
But me and a friend here think it might be played by Robert Naylor 👀
I wonder why he didn't follow Hudson
🤷🏼♀️
Charles followed Connor and Francois now 👀
👀👀👀👀
I just noticed that the agency representing Charlie has various actors in Crave productions. He’s currently filming a movie in Texas, but movie shoots are usually quick, so it would be possible for him to hypothetically join the season 2 shoot next month.
Yup. I believe him being a part of the HR S2 cast as Troy Barrett is a strong possibility 💫
Julie and the Phantoms was produced and directed by Kenny Ortega, and to this day, I believe its cancellation was one of the most ridiculous moves Netflix has ever made!
If you get the chance, watch the video for "Unsaid Emily"—Charlie really shines in it!
https://youtu.be/HhhtZkSH8pM?si=2P0tGNchRN0wfHrR
He and the main cast had—and still have—a beautiful relationship with Kenny; they even used to travel together, and the guys would spend their vacations at Kenny's house.
If he’s part of Heated Rivalry s2, I can already imagine how fun the filming will be, especially for Connor and whoever plays Harris.
Hey Hey!
Thank you, dear anon, for this lovely piece of info 🫶
I watched a video edit about his Canadianness, and it made me smile 💓
The Jacob/Charles follow is still pretty recent, it could really mean something 👀
ooh! I remember Charles Gillespie from an episode from degrassi. I know he was also in Julie and the phantoms. Honestly back then I thought Eric Osborne was going to be the major star.
I have not watched those shows.
I know nothing about Charles, either, but his looks are a good fit for Troy Barrett, and he has played a hockey player before, which is a plus.
So, Charlie Gillispie follows Jacob on ig. But he doesn't follow Rachel or the boys. Since he's canadian, it's likely he knows Jacob through the industry, but it would be so great if he played Troy Barret. Ngl he kind of has the perfect look for the character.
Jacob follows him back.
I would not be surprised if he is cast as Troy 👀🫣
And he played a hockey player before (I know this fact thanks to a friend here). Check Shattered Ice.
He is my Troy cast from now on 🫰

this is based on vibes though i will die on the hill that Ilya is 5SOS
Ilya Rozanov needs to teach me how to pack. What do you mean he only packed one tiny suitcase and one small backpack for 2 weeks at the cottage!? 🏠⛸️🏒💜🩷
