Action Comics #1000
Look at how nice these cops are! Rubber bullets are compassionate and never kill anybody! A man literally just picking grass in a public park needs to be harassed... and we see the other cop bugging a dude for sleeping on a bench??? With his baton out??? and clark of course loves this shit...

I’ve seen criticism of Action Comics #1000 that every story in it was about "the meaning of Superman" and very little of it was "Superman doing cool stuff". Do you think that’s fair?
Somewhat, but that’s fair game for an issue like that, and there’s still plenty of cool stuff in several of those stories.
