I think that I did it. I finally found a way to properly apply my Action Duel idea to a real duel without having to throw the Action Cards around a customized arena.
Die rolls.
I had this idea before, but it was just “Roll x and you draw an Action Card”.
The problem is that this just made Action Fields pointless and kind of just felt like it was missing the point.
Now it has struck me.
Each Action Field determines what you need to roll in order to get an Action Card. This creates variety.
I just need to figure out the combinations for the die results and then I can make new field spells.
You know on TV they never tell you how sore the duelists get training for action duels. my body is on fire right now ♥️😃👍
Action Duels in Arc-V become hilarious when you realize exactly how much energy they need for a FRACTION of that shit (there was a post somewhere with all the calculations for just Yuya’s Entermate Discover Hippo being SUMMONED, I think, but I couldn't find it). Hint: It’s ENORMOUS. These people have figured out how to literally create matter and they use it for the game. The people of Yugioh could find the cure for cancer and somehow integrate it into a card game.
