I'm very late but have some Hannukah art AND some headcanons!

I have a hannukah headcanon for you!!!! So I was reading that Captain Fun x Jack explanation I wrote bc I love them very much lol and a sudden realization about my headcanon name for CF: Phillip Funkelmyer. Now I mostly chose it bc it's twinky and quirky BUT-

2. Ok so obviously I don't think he'd ever be 100% down for murder but I think he is very delusional.

Case and point: Him being convinced that he bonded with a snowball in 0.2 seconds and immeditely adopting it as his own son.

I think it's a variation of the "grumpy one is in love with the sunshine one" dynamic but Jack is less grumpy and more maniacal, like he's not introverted as is usually associated with the grumpy portion of that coupling.

Jack will be ever so slightly scorned and suggest mashing their bodies into a fine pase and Phillip (my headcanon name for CF to make things easier) suggests that they make margaritas together instead.

It works sometimes because Phillip is so cute and VERY pushy and Jack DOES love to party, but as per usual, NO KARAOKE no ifs ands or buts. Not even when Phillip puts on a stupid face and voice and pretends to be activity boy.

There's also the way Phillip, ironically, gets semi-serious during emotional moments (see: the scene where he talks about how he always wanted to be in show business) so he'll get bitch lectured until Jack has no choice but to distract them both.

"Why don't you kiss my big frozen ass."

"Jack you know this is what the couples therapy vhs tapes are for it really hurts my feelings when-"

And of course there are the majority of times where Jack just does what Jack loves doing most, at which point Phillip will pull out every excuse in the book.

"Oh you know my Jackie just has such a hair trigger temper! He's got a big ol heart I swear! He's just the most sensitive teddy bear you'll ever meet!"

He says wearing one of those short silk robes and day drinking but in a sassy gossip mom way.

Also neither of them have ANY sense of boundaries whatsoever so there are some ways that they feed into each other, Phillip may be annoying in ways that Jack finds irritating but he's ALSO annoying in ways that Jack is happy to encourage.
