Elizabeth Taylor

This is a drawing of Elizabeth Taylor, an American-British actress. She was born in London on 27th February 1932 to American parents. She lived in the UK until 1939, when her family moved back to their native US.

She was a child actress in the early forties. She rose to fame in the film National Velvet, gaining more fame in the fifties and sixties. She married eight times, twice to Richard Burton. She died on 23rt March 2011 aged 79.

She was in National Velvet, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Cleopatra, Little Women, The Taming of the Shrew, Lassie Come Home, Ivanhoe, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Giant, Quo Vadis, and many others. My favourite film of hers is Cleopatra.
