what the hell is the psychology behind my behaviours. actually dont answer
i've noticed a trend with the romances in warriors-they never actually show us the dynamic of the characters. they just suddenly have feelings for the other character or "realize they had feelings all along" (that have never once been demonstrated before). then suddenly they're together and half the time we don't really see them interact as a couple either. there is so, so much telling and no showing.
crowfeather and leafpool i think are the worst example of this. they barely interact and leafpool genuinely does not feel anything for him while characters around her imply that she does for seemingly no reason. then he confesses to her (with no buildup on his end, either, btw) and suddenly she's in love with him. then we literally never see a single scene of them together, just leafpool thinking about how she loves him or is sneaking out to see him, until they run away together. we a told they have been sneaking off and hanging out, but we see literally nothing to prove this is a relationship they both would be willing to run away from everything they've ever know for. honestly, they interact onscreen more after they have decided to not be together more than when they're actually together, which is ridiculous.
i just finished hawkwing's journey, which is mostly a good book, but it also has this problem with hawkwing and pebbleshine. at the beginning of the book, they do not like each other. then hawkwing saves her from a fire, which his brother also dies in, and he spends a good chunk of the book blaming her and himself simultaneously, and is very rude to her. she tries to be friendly to him in the wake of that, which is the only sign she might like him (but a super nonconcrete one). then as he gets past that he tries to be nicer to her and then suddenly has feelings for her, with no prompting. btw, she is still an apprentice here and he had been promoted to warrior at some point after the fire. it's weird. basically the next step from this is just that boom, they have feelings for each other. we don't even see that much of pebblepaw's personality here. they eventually get together when she becomes a warrior, still barely talk to each other onscreen, while hawkwing thinks about how pretty she is and how much he loves her, not anything actually about her. then they're expecting kits and she gets kidnapped and they never see each other again but both think about how deeply they miss their "true love", again without actually describing anything about them.
dovewing and tigerheart kind of have this problem too, where they go from dovewing being slightly annoyed with him to being in love, though they get a good bit more screen time once they're together and with their whole drama. keep in mind that i'm only talking about them in the context of oots here because i haven't gotten to the rest of their story yet in my reread. also, while they both get distinct personalities, dovewing is annoyed by his personality when it actually shows itself.
there are a couple good exceptions to this, (cinderheart and lionblaze actually have a compelling dynamic and plenty of scenes together, squirrelflight and bramblestar also have lots of interactions, even if they are definitely. quite toxic.) but most of the romances in warriors just are not super compelling because they don't let the cats actually get to know each other or interact, they just shove them together because "there needs to be a love interest for stories to be interesting" and other such nonsense.

Devil May Cry 3 is a transgender allegory.
The main character is wearing a binder.
The main antagonist has a philosophy about personal strength that sounds like it was ripped out of Andrew Tate's handbook.
And this woman has a deadname
i really like class of 09 rn and idk why because everything that happens in that game would never happen at my school
except for the shooting thing we got a lot of those threats last year. and the pedo thing with our woodworking teacher sorta. and weed. a lot of it. also there was a rumor our principal was a lesbian swinger so maybe that also counts? school is fucking weird.
Whatever you do, don't think about 'How To Say Goodbye' by Marina, through the lens of Armand finding out Marius was alive the whole time.
