Okay, but did Lestat even know Daniel was a vampire let alone Armand's fledgling when he signed the documentary deal? Like "get me this annoying mortal Daniel Molloy" and the moment they're first in a room together Lestat takes ONE look at Daniel's Armand-colored eyes and does the sigh/exaggerated eye roll face journey like "Christ I cannot catch a break"
