hello. game making plans here

so my main project i had is a bit daunting because i want to include a lot of different game mechanics. but i want to do it well, so i will not make it my first project, i am very attached though （´∇｀''） so will probably work on the art aspect in the meantime? and maybe make cutscenes and animated aspects. i will upload this to yt and etc

A more simple project in the meantime:

i really enjoy the weird ass character writing in guilty gear, so i am thinking of making a game with chracters kinda inspired by this? a fighter game would be really cool to make, ive been getting into fighting games recently like guilty gear series and melty blood series games ^w^ so i am feeling really inspired to make my own bc i think thatd be epic. itll be very unserious lowkey i just want something less serious than my Bigger project to learn basics of coding and etc :33

wwil be spam posting updates to motivate myself hopefully!!!! but will just be working of design stuff first no coding............stay tuned ;)

OOC:I'm actually using a computer for the moment.

One reason why I haven't been on here as much as I used to is because I haven't been using my computer. My computer has been running terribly slow for a while now and I need a new one ^^' so I think I'll be borrowing the main laptop for a while.

Besides the point, I think I'm going to start writing some fanfics and posting them on my personal blog ( the-owner-of-the-minions.tumblr.com ) and the fanfics will be based on many fandoms from Hetalia to bandoms (Black Veil Brides,Sleeping with Sirens, ect..)

Let's see, i had my exam, got home, played AC for a bit, slept for the rest of the day, and have spent all night playing AC/drawing... guess it's time to plan for a story???

Here we go!

I'm at a standstill in my life right now. I can't find a job in my field, and I am limited by language constraints where I am. There's a part of me that regrets going to university for an English degree (duh), but I'm not quite ready to plunge into more schooling until a) The job market is there and b) I actually like it.

So I'm doing odd jobs, and wasting away my time. I've kind of been stewing in my situation, but I've come to the conclusion that not only is it really unhealthy, I'm not getting anywhere (my social life became nonexistent, which feeds into my fear of meeting other people and being found out as being socially nonexistent, etc etc IT DOESN'T END). So I stayed up really late one night, wrote up a manifesto of who I want to be and what I want to be doing at ANY given point in my life, regardless of the circumstances. Now I just have to GO do it.

I think the best way to do it is a simple 3-4 habit/month system. I know tons of people do crazy, self-help things by year, BUT I HONESTLY CAN'T DO THAT. I get very discouraged quickly. Part of the reason is that my brain is lazy, and very good at tricking me into "well if I'm not doing well right off the bat, it's not like I can get better", as opposed to "duh, I'm going to suck at this until i put ____ hrs in like other people".

Maybe. We'll see!

BY THE WAY THIS IS THE WORST TIME EVER TO START A PROJECT LIKE THIS. I HAVE A TRIP OUT OF TOWN FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS ARGH. But I will try!
