You know what REALLY fucking pisses me off? When someone claims to be someone's aunt or uncle, when they're really only friends of the parent(s). I have one sister and one nephew. I am his aunt. YOU are not. Don't call yourself "auntie so-and-so". No. Fuck off. I'm his aunt. It's worse when the parents do it. My sister posted a picture on Facebook of my nephew and her friend commented on it saying something along the lines of "tell him to stop growing! i'm missing out on all of it!" and my sister replied with something like "i know auntie we will see you next month! xoxo". Like, no. She is not his aunt. I am. Why are you taking that away from me? And YOU'RE missing out on him growing up? Well guess what? So am I. His REAL aunt.
