Mod Aster here. I have a request for aid myself. I have a learning disability evaluation coming up and I really need help paying for it. This evaluation would help me get accomodations for school. I never got a learning disability diagnosis due to a combination of being considered "gifted", antiblack racism, and homeschooling most of my childhood due to racist and ableist bullying. I would really appreciate being able to get accomodations in college!

Specific Learning Difficulties Amino

Hi, sorry to bother you!

I’m Dyslexic and have Irlen Syndrome, and I wanted to join an Amino community for Dyslexics, only problem is that the single community for Dyslexics up at the moment is poorly maintained and practically empty!

I created my own Amino to try and give people with SpLDs a space to freely and safely talk about their problems and to find the fun side to having such amazing minds.

I need 15 followers on the Amino to get it live, so I’m asking all the blogs on Tumblr that are centralised on SpLDs if they’d help by mentioning the Amino to their follower!
