Since I triggered R/DIDcringe here's how being a traumascum is harmful.

Being told you are faking something is triggering

Being told that you do not have an illness can cause severe debilitating panic attacks that can last days

Being open online about your state of plurality is complicated. And shouldn't be made difficult by people telling you you are fake as this can cause other people to not want to come forward and continue to spread word of DID

you aren't a doctor. I am willing to bet half of the people on DIDCringe are singlets. You can't say what can or can't cause plurality when doctors aren't even sure the exact criteria.

What is triggering enough to cause DID heavily ranges. Someone saying they are endogenic can just be from not understanding the route and extension of trauma

Choosing to define yourself plurally should never be taken away from you
