So! Like any Fae based Au, and as a person who loves Faelore, this Au will be a Dark Fantasy one!
Viridescent (Pure Vanilla) is the Fae King of the Summer Court, he was meeting with Moonflower (White Lily), The Fae Queen of the Spring Court
However, some of the Spring Fae had decided to pull a ‘Harmless’ prank on the Fae King, and sprinkled a love potion on him during his sleep, causing him to act like a complete fool in-front of AND for the Fae Queen, knowing what had happened, she did not blame him for his actions.
So to put it simply, for the next few hundred years she had to deal with the distant Pining of the Love-Potioned Viridescent, until!
QUE SHADOW MILK!! An actor under contract with Eternal Sugar, a demon most notable for her love of Tragicomedy, who places her dear dearly dolls into a little ‘Live action Roleplay’ by placing the, into stories of her design, this being one of them!
Currently acting as a King, under the suspicion of being a no good embezzler, you know, how those types of stories usually go!
Shadow Milk, being the arrogant little shit he is, does everything to act against the script to try and prolong his once again pre-written death, and just purely to piss off Sugar.
Accidentally stumbles upon the lovesick Viridescent, blindsights him with tricks in order to escape, and flees (to the best of his ability, it’s a Fae’s domain after all)
However this inadvertently results in the spell of the Love-Potion breaking, freeing Viridescent from his lovesick mind fog, and upon realising what had happened to him his was…….less them thrilled to say the least to be humiliated din such a way. Now with him freed, he now had his sights on, you guessed it! SHADOW MILK! Cause you know the only thing that can break the falsities of a love-potion?
THATS RIGHT! A LEGIT CRUSH!
Which, for a Fae being infatuated with a mortal, is very bad! (for the mortal)
Ya know, usual includes kidnapping, name/soul stealing, psychological manipulation! The norm!
So yeah, the story goes WAY farther off the rails then Eternal Sugar expects and things get out of control, what’s worse is that she can’t pull Shadow Milk out the story cause it’s still ongoing, so he’s now stuck being perused by an obsessive Fae until Fate decides otherwise! :)
