they were in the middle of planning their future home when it happened. michael was talking about having a big lawn for when they adopted rescue dogs to play in. he waited for adam to chuckle at him as he usually did. except it never came. michael waited, he called out, no response. adam was gone.
not to be a nerd on main but im once again thinking about how hard adam would geek out w michael because !!!! michael is a millenia old celestial being with all the knowledge of the world and Adam's thirst for knowledge is unquenchable.

adam got used to the weird looks he got from strangers when sometimes they talked out loud to each other. ofc it looks weird to an outsider, a man talking to himself. so when michael screamed one day, crying, his neighbour didnt pay him any heed. it was just the building weirdo being weird. little did he know that michael had just lost the love of his life.
every other week adamichael have a diner date where they share fries and im saying every other week because michael is concerned for adams health and well being so they try to cook at home usually
when adam was in middle school, his mom took him to see a musical once. he absolutely loved it. when they came back, adam took michael to see a musical. michael didnt understand the point of it, but when he saw the unbridled joy on adams face, he smiled and said he loved it.
they both got used to occupying the same space about a year in and after that, it was only a matter of time before they fell in love. who fell first? if you ask adam he'd say michael because he likes when the angel blushes at that. if you ask michael, he'll say they both fell at the same time. because he had stopped thinking of them as two separate beings a long time ago, what adam felt, he felt. so yea, they fell in love together.
