Forget about "x lbs in x day" challenges. They are terrible for your health, your body, and you'll end up worse then when you started. I'm still running 3-5 miles a day. Still lifting as heavy as I ever lifted. Every week my bodyfat is still going down. I'm still eating 3000 plus calories a day. My endurance is as good as it's ever been. This didn't happen by accident. I've turned being a machine into my life. It's not an 8 or 12 week program. This is how I'll live for the rest of my life. I'll keep improving ever so slightly until I can't anymore. Hopefully I'll never reach that point. If you're on that yo yo dieting plan, quit it!! 30lbs in 30 days, 60lbs in 60 days...
