Forget about "x lbs in x day" challenges. They are terrible for your health, your body, and you'll end up worse then when you started. I'm still running 3-5 miles a day. Still lifting as heavy as I ever lifted. Every week my bodyfat is still going down. I'm still eating 3000 plus calories a day. My endurance is as good as it's ever been. This didn't happen by accident. I've turned being a machine into my life. It's not an 8 or 12 week program. This is how I'll live for the rest of my life. I'll keep improving ever so slightly until I can't anymore. Hopefully I'll never reach that point. If you're on that yo yo dieting plan, quit it!! 30lbs in 30 days, 60lbs in 60 days... These plans DO NOT WORK!! My sole purpose of competing right now is to reach my peak in terms of everything required to win at the highest level. I started 4 weeks ago and learned I needed to make an adjustment in order to look my best. I dropped my body fat about 1% and I looked better this time around. I still didn't hit my ideal peak in terms of roundness. I know I still have to drop about 4-6 more pounds of body fat which I will do in next 6-8 weeks. But I also learned to better pose my back and will attempt a new strategy for attaining fullness. I plan to compete at the Olympia amateur and will compete one more time in next 6-8 weeks to maximize my learning curve. I felt much more comfortable at the @fitlife_productions MIFE which was an excellent show and experience. I hope to compete again next year but next time as a pro. 💪 Time to keep grinding!! #14weeksout #olympiaamateur
