why Ada doesn't like Benjen?

They used to be roommates and a couple back when Ada first moved to Brooklyn, before she met River again, obviously. She was young and thought she was in love, but she was blind. Benjen didn’t treat her all too well, he’d hurl abuse at her and threaten to leave her as well as the fact he was constantly cheating on her. He started to wind down a little when Ada was involved in a kidnapping accident. He did everything in his power to find her, though she was injured. They also found out that Ada had been around 9 weeks pregnant but had lost the baby due to the trauma and injuries.
