“Hey, thats so not fair!!!!” I yelled while jumping of the bed onto Nialls back.
“What because you don’t want to watch football.” He ran across the room giggling.
“Yes, thats exactly the reason why!” I shouted still on his back. There was a knock on the door and one of the nurses came into the room.
“Please you too, you need to be quiet for the other patients.” she whispered.
“Oh shit, sorry!” Niall laughed while pulling me of his back, the nurse walked out of the room. Niall and I stood there smiling at each other while trying to catch our breath. I looked behind him seeing clear view of the remote. It was now battle time. I backed away quietly, and Niall stood of guard. When he took a seat I ran straight towards the table at the end of the room. I heard the chair that Niall was sitting on screech, I grabbed the remote of the table and turned to the bed. Niall came running towards me and picked me up, lifting me over his shoulder. My face was in front of his bum, he started walking towards the bed.
“Niall you little prick, haha. Don’t you dare fart!” I yelled, which obviously tempted him. He let one rip and started laughing. He plonked me onto the bed, still laughing he grabbed the remote out of my hands.
“Really.. In my face?” I closed my eyes trying to block the horrid smell. He turned to face me and smiled.
“Yeah buddy, that’s why you love me!” He did a little dance and I laughed as he jiggled around the room.
He came and sat next to me on the bed, turning the T.V back to football. He leant back onto the pillow resting his hands under his head. I wasn’t going to get my way, I sighed and laid back so my head was resting on his chest. Niall has been fascinated by my hair, he is always playing with it.
I am so happy with Niall, he’s spent the whole week with me here in the hospital. My family and friends came and visited as much as they could. Mum isn’t really coping with me having no memory. It’s been a week and there is still no sign of me remembering anything. It’s like a complete blank book inside my head. I don’t even know how my accident happened, people keep telling me that I fell and hit my head. What happens if I don’t get my memory back. Doctors tell me that it will come back soon, they say that studies have proved that; 6% of people with amnesia only last for less than an hour; 7% experience memory loss an hour a day. 16% between a day and a week; 23% between a week and a month and 45% last for more than a month. So what happens if I’m that 3% that doesn’t get there memory back? Tears rolled down my cheeks, Niall sat up and wiped my eyes with his jumper that smelt like his cologne.
“Hey its okay, we can watch the Kardashians if you want?” He pulled me up to look at him.
“It’s not that,” I only had to look at him and he knew what I was talking about. His eyes filled up with water.
“Don’t worry, I promise you that you will get it back. I don’t know how.. but I promise I am going to help you.”
“Why are you crying? I don’t want to be that 3%!”
“Your not that 3%, and I know I can promise that.” He took my hand and held it to his lips. I fell into him, he wrapped his hands around me as I snuggled into his chest. He kissed me on the top of my head, as I cried into his chest.
“I know this is bad timing, but I have to go on a trip with the boys tomorrow for the next 3 days.” He whispered. I pulled my head out from him and looked at him weirdly. It was unexpected but I knew that I couldn’t keep Niall here.
“I’ll miss you, my little leprechaun.” I kissed him on the cheek and then fell back into his hug.
“By the way I take the offer,” I pulled away again. His expression was puzzling and then I grabbed the remote out of his hands pushing him back against so we were back in the same position as before. I turned the T.V to the Kardashians and Niall moaned at the sight, I sniggered like and evil witch.

“Hallelujah!!!” Elijah yelled while jumping onto my bed. I sat up on my bed, rubbing my eyes. I was exhausted but somehow couldn’t ever get to sleep. I looked at the young 13 year old boy sitting at the bottom of my bed. His face was filled with joy and I was just confused, when mum came walking through the door.
“Please don’t tell me you woke up your sister, Elijah?” Mum moaned while looking at me struggling to keep awake.
“No its fine, I can’t get to sleep anyway. So why the balloons and happy cheering?” I asked while noticing balloons in my mums hand.
“Well we were talking to the doctors and they said that you can go home tomorrow.” Mum fiddled with a vase and some flowers. Elijah jumped on top of me and grabbed the remote, flicking the channels to football.
“Ha! There trying to get rid of me.” I joked.
“Actually they said you have been quite, but really stubborn the past couple of days.” Mum pulled the chair up so she could sit next to me. Mum was right, it has been quiet the past couple of days. Niall has been gone and I’ve been extremely bored, and the stubbornness was mainly because I wouldn’t eat the horrible food they gave me or take the huge pills they shoved in my face.
“You miss him,” mum laughed at my reaction. I could tell by her face that she was hiding something, but I didn’t know what.

The drive to my home was amazing. It’s been 2 weeks since I have been outside, the fresh breeze and warm sun made me feel human again. I rolled down the window in the car letting the wind flow through my hair, I gazed out towards the scenery we were driving past. It looked like we were driving in a farm land, large paddocks and farm animals were seen at every corner. We pulled into a long driveway, shaded by large blossom trees that dropped pretty pink flowers over the driveway. We came to an open driveway, a medium sized 2 story white cottage sat at the end. The house was open with white french doors and a deck surrounded the house.
“Were home!” Mum sighed while turning the engine of. I opened the car door, and walked towards the white wooden staircase making its way to the front door. Inside the house was as antique as it was outside, it was open with lots of light. Walking down the hallways admiring the photographs hanging on the walls. I saw a door at the end of the hallway with a handmade sign on it saying Ronnie’s Room.
Opening my bedroom door to a beautiful room. It was large and spacious, I admired every little detail. From the pictures of me and my friends to the little antique collectables I had. I placed my bag on my bed and looked around my room again. The presence of my room seemed so calming. The breeze blew the curtains and brought my gaze to the opened french doors at the end of my room. I walked outside onto the small deck, looking over the paddock. I could see a white horse galloping around the green grass in the distance.
“That’s your horse,” Someone came up from behind me and I realized it was my mother, she then continued.
“You called her Bonnie because that’s one of the characters from the Vampire Diaries, which is your favorite show. You love riding Bonnie because it calms you down, your father and I struggle trying to get you off. You should go ride her, maybe it might help you think a little.” She rubbed the sides of my shoulders, I turned to face her pulling her in for a hug.
“I love you mum.” I whispered in her ear. I could feel a teardrop onto my shoulder, I pulled away and she whipped her eyes.
“I love you to baby, now don’t be to long dinner will be ready soon.”
I ran out of the house, stopping when I touched the green turf. I took a moment to inhale the garden-fresh air, the roses and orchids; their health bloomed in the spring air. I bowed down to the green grass entangling a daisy between my fingers pulling it out of the dirt. I strolled around the ground approaching the gate to the paddock.
“Bonnie, come here girl” I whistled for her to approach me. The white horse came galloping towards me and heeled just in front of my. The long white face was inches away from mine, the long eyelashes covering those dark eyes. I held out my hand slowly patting the beautiful horse, moving closer steadily.
I positioned the saddle across the horses back, grabbing a small stool for me to stand on. I linked my foot into the saddles pushing myself up onto the horse. I pulled the rains and Bonnie started trotting across the field. Mum was right, I felt at peace while riding. I could actually think, it made me feel happy. I view was beautiful, the sun was stetting along the top of the forrest that was beside our house. Shit I lost track of time, its been 20 minutes. I directed Bonnie towards the small shed at the side of the field where I could leave the saddle.
Pulling of the heavy saddle and walking it over towards the bar where it hangs, I let it down and saw a small spider on the steel. It gave me a fright and I screamed while jumping into the air and knocking the brushes of their hangers. Someone came up from behind me and gave me another fright, the familiar scent filtered through my nose. I turned around to see the handsome irish boy holing onto my waist.
“Niall!” I jumped into his arms.
“Are you okay?” He asked while hugging me.
“Yeah I’m fine.. saw a spider.... What the hell are you doing here? Did you just teleport yourself here or what I thought you said you were staying in Sydney for an extra 2 days?” I said while slapping his arm jokingly.
“Yeah, well I asked if I could come back and the boys were fine with it. I wanted to see you, your mum called me telling me you got out of hospital and I just couldn’t resist.” He rubbed the back of his head and I leaped back into his arms.
“I missed you,” I whispered in his ear.
“Com’on your mum said dinner is ready,” He pulled me away and I looked at him suspiciously.
“Your staying for dinner?”
“Yeah, and maybe the night” He winked at me as I jumped on his back.

We all gathered at the table, Niall was sitting next to me. Laughter and chatter echoed through the dinning room as we talked about each others week. There was a knock at the door and I excused myself from the table to answer it. Swinging the door open a tall brunette boy stood at the foot of my door. He lunged himself at me while kissing my cheek.
“Oh Ronnie!” He said still hugging me.
“Uhm, Mum!” I shouted out as the family came to the door. The boy unwrapped himself from me as my dad stepped in.
“Ronnie this is Ryan, your boyfriend.” She stood behind me. I turned to find Niall, he was standing in the hallway with his head bowed.
“Mmm something smells good, can I join” Ryan came barging through the door without our permission. I looked towards my mum and she just nodded. The crowd disappeared into the kitchen and I walked towards Niall. turning him around.
“I’m so sorry, I honestly did not know...” I started but Niall interrupted me.
“It’s okay, c’mon lets go eat.” He pulled me towards the dinning room. We sat down, Ryan was sitting across from me and kept trying to touch me with his foot. I felt uncomfortable with Ryan doing that, Niall was sitting right next to me. Dinner became awkward, Mum and Dad tried making conversation but it just got ruined by Ryan. Dinner finished and I offered to help mum in the kitchen.
“Why didn’t you tell me about Ryan?” I asked while pilling the dishes into the sink.
“Well he didn’t come to visit...and your father and I never really liked him. Also because I thought you and Niall where having great fun together I didn’t want to spoil it.”
“Yeah ofcourse, so you just let him bombard us tonight” I said sarcastically. Mum went to go speak but a door slammed. I walked out into the lounge room to see Ryan standing there and my dad hauling him to sit down.
“Where’s Niall?” I asked looking around the room for him. My dad gave me a funny look and I ran straight for the door. I ran out into the cold air, I stood on the porch looking for Niall but it was to dark to see. I started running down the stairs when someone pulled me at my arm. Thinking it was Niall I turned around but it was only Ryan.
“What did you do!?” I demanded.
“What did I do, no! That little prick has feelings for you, and your my fucking girlfriend. I don’t want him anywhere near you.”
“He is not a fucking prick you ass whole! And who are you to be demanding me to be your fucking girlfriend. You never came to visit me, not once. I had no idea you existed! That boy was a complete stranger who stayed with me every night and day. He stood by me and kept me entertained while I was down and upset. Now where the fuck were you? Nowhere to be seen, but now you turn up here tonight thinking that everything will be the same as before because it’s not going to. Good I hope he does have feelings towards me because I have feelings towards him as well!” I shouted at him, making my throat burn. He ran past me and then stopped at the bottom of the stairs. He turned to face me his eyes dark and evil.
“I’m so glad you cleared that up because I’ve been cheating on you this whole time. I hope you and that bog-trotter have a wonderful life.... Oh wait you cant remember your fucking life!” He ran towards his car, the headlights burning my eyes. Mum came out and turned the porch lights on which gave me a clearer sight of the front garden. In the distance I saw the blonde boy standing watching from the side of the driveway. I ran towards him leaping into his arms and crying into his shoulder.
“I’m so sorry Niall.” I murmured into his woolen jumper. He pulled me in even closer, and kissed the top of my head.
“It’s okay.” He whispered. I pulled away looking into his eyes, they were tearing up. I placed my hands around the back of his neck as he wiped his thumb across my cheek. I leaned in letting our lips crash together. He licked the bottom of my lip and I opened up my mouth moving my hands into his blonde hair. I could feel the warmth of his tongue slide against mine, bitting his lower lip playfully.
