Day 11:

Hi guys!!!!

Yesterday I managed to finish correcting all the observations made by the tech leader, and they approved my Pull Request wiiiiiiiiiiii! Since I had some time, as I had completed my tickets, I decided to throw a lifeline to my colleague who was struggling to fetch an endpoint from the backend. After several hours and a lot of coffee, we were able to finish all the code. Today, I'll be assisting him with integration tests. I'm proud not only to learn new things but also to be able to help others.

If there's time, I'll try to finish the practice CRUD I'm working on to learn Nest

Hey there! Soon I'll start posting what I call "Paper Programming" (This is not like graph paper programming, it's something different), this is in fact, me teaching you programming on paper to be clear

Here I'll teach you programming/coding basics, and some CS along the way!

To be honest, I'm no expert, I'm self taught, since I was 11, however I'm pretty good at the stuff in theory, on paper too!

Why on paper?

The blackboard always teaches better than any set of slides, plus, it's more dynamic!

Note: We need the paddle width and height to determine paddle and ball collision, by doing some math you can determine if the ball position

My code is so inefficient it isn’t even funny 😭 it takes like 3 minutes for this one algorithm to execute. I need like a loading screen so I know it isn’t just broken or in some kind of loop 😭

Entry 1: Catch up

For the past two weeks I've been learning Python and I've been really enjoying it. I've completed the Learn Python 3 course on Codecademy and have been using various Youtube tutorials, as of right now I can confidently work with:

Basic syntax

Boolean operators

If, elif, else statements

while and for loops

Lists, tuples, and dictionaries

Functions

Modules

Files

Technically, classes should be on this list but it makes no sense and I hate it...
