ok so secret relationship + bed sharing for wincest

for some reason that episode from s12 where mick davies gets them separate rooms just popped into my mind. the bmol don't know sam and dean are together and they want to keep it that way, don't wanna give them weaknesses to exploit, so while mick seems like an okay dude, they're not about to tell him the reason they don't want separate rooms.

so they nod and go along with it and off they go to their separate rooms pretending they're not totally freaking out about it. they lie awake and toss and turn and pretend they can get through the night just fine without each other, but by 2 am dean can't take it anymore and goes to sam's room only to find sam at the door already.

"couldn't sleep," he says.

"yeah," says sam. "was about to come over to yours. guess you saved me the trip."

they curl up in bed like they're used to doing when it's just the two of them, and dean hogs the covers and complains about sam being clingy, but they're breathing easier and suddenly, as if a switch has been flipped, they're so damn sleepy they can barely keep their eyes open.

they're fast asleep in seconds.

I think at the moment I have 7 or so works in progress for them but hhhh if we count unwritten ideas only -- lately I've been planning a pwp for them that catches a particular summer mood —

a room that's drenched in heat, to the point where the sheets are crisp with sunshine. Maybe a motel room, but I think I'd like a safehouse better — something that's sweet with dust, almost blind windows, their guns on the scratched tabletop, stacks of old magazines and books. Sweltering, with the promise of rain outside — or maybe it s already raining, that's why they have to stay in, but the heat is still caught in the room. The point is that they're inside, trapped in the heat, Dean sprawled on the bed flipping through old porn magazines. 1970s, maybe. It's more out of curiosity, out of a lack of better things to do.

It's Sam who's burning out of his skin, made uncomfortable by the heat, hyperaware of his body. Part miserable, part turned on, he's the one who makes the first move. The idea of him as a potent sensual factor in their relationship has been really fascinating to me lately — sure Dean is a sex kitten but I want to think about Sam as the one who climbs the bed and takes the magazine from him, pushes his shirt up, puts his mouth on him. It doesn't take much to get Dean hot for it, but the journey there is something worth thinking about..

I just want that salt-and-honey skin, the heat, the desire.

(also I've been listening to Cute Whore - 70s Porno Music today, completely unrelated to developing the idea, actually, but now I've been thinking about using a line from that as a title. 33. Ideal Supernatural ending, when, where?

I mean... the one we got is pretty ideal. But! If I were going to change it, I really think that the ideal ending would’ve been the end of s11, and I wouldn’t change much! Obv. the whole BMoL thing has to disappear (no loss), and Mary won’t come back (no loss), and I guess you have to figure out what to do with Cas---I always wanted him to go out in a sacrifice move, so maybe he’d actually die when Amara struck down Lucifer, but it would buy them some time instead of being... limpdick and pathetic, haha.

But the thing that’s so rad about s11 is that Sam and Dean come to the fullest peak of their platonic devoted marriage, and then the whole plot arc is about how Chuck and Amara have to find peace, too. It’s like--synergy and shit, man! Everything after that has been kind of going through the motions, looking for a plot to tack on to a bunch of people who are just here for the paycheck, and so even if I do actually like some individual elements in s12--on you just... don’t need it. Let us write all the curtain fic instead. Then you can pretty much just tack 15.20 onto the end of s11 as a perfect little capper and I’m golden.

I was excited at first about the show, like when it was first announced that they were in talks, but it live action and going through disney.

in my opinion live actions through disney are incredibly mediocre, and disney is very good at taking all the lgbt and poc characters and ruining them or finding a way to hide them, so its very likely hoo wont happen because thats where we get lots of poc (4 in the main cast and many side characters!!) because you cant just change them when their race had very important aspects of the character tied to it.

Not to mention in general the casting choices likely aren’t going to be a bunch of new actors a nd actresses and i dont want to look at the stranger things kids and timothee chalamet any more,,,,,,

so yeah im not going to watch it unless it genuinely looks like theyre going to be truely faithful to the books and the message in them, and not shy away from all the harsh deaths and heavy themes and tone. because it is meant as a children slash teen media i cant imagine disney is going to be very faithful to the messages in the books. like i cant imagine how battle of the labyrinth is going to go,,,, the gladiator fight? everything with nico?? the ranch and the horses??

i also just refuse to give disney my patronage on principle of their track record on the treatment of bipoc, as an indigenous person
