I still haven’t heard back from everyone about what they want or need, but SIlvia asked for a certain book and I promised to get her that. Maybe a new necklace, too; she likes necklaces.
16. What do you absolutely dislike the most about the Christmas season?- The rush and commercialism. Call me old-fashioned, but I believe Christmas should be spent in peace with your family and loved ones. It’s not about who gets the best presents or whose house is the prettiest, hmph.

11. Who will you spend the next Christmas with?- I know Father would like to have us, but I promised Mike we would visit his parents this year! It’s been a few years since we’ve done that, so I’m sure it’s going to be fun.
12. What would you like that your true love gave to you?- I don’t know, I don’t write long wishlists to Santa anymore, so I’m usually happy with whatever Mike comes up with! He’s really great at picking presents and usually knows/remembers what I want better than I do… He is the best Christmas present I could ever ask for! Yeah, sappy, I know.
19. Do you have any special Yuletide traditions?- Me and Mike? Not really, but some things I used to do with my family when I was little stuck with me till this day. Like uh, we exchange and open presents on Christmas Eve, not on Christmas Day. That’s more common in Europe, I think? Oh, and actually, I and Mike also have this homemade Advent Calendar we fill with small gifts every year - I do twelve slots and Mike does the other 12. Usually the gifts are just candy or bags of tea, or paper slips with funny quotes, et cetera, but it’s fun nonetheless!

6. What makes you feel the most independent during the Yuletide Season?- What does this even mean? Well, thinking about how I don’t have to spend time with my idiot family makes me feel pretty fucking independent I guess?
7. Are you getting anything to anyone?- Nah, I don’t think so. I don’t think they want me to participate in the traditional oh-so-wonderful family Christmas party anyway, so I’ll just spend Christmas alone. It might be nice to get something for Valeria, but she lives pretty far away and I don’t even know her address.

1. Say, have you been naughty or nice?- Hey, I am plenty nice! I guess it’s a little… subjective, though.
3. Your best Christmas memory.- Now, Christmas has never meant much to me. I mean, I was a typical rich kid; the only child of extremely wealthy parents who didn’t know what their child needed most of the time. I could ask for anything I wanted for Christmas and get it, so presents never were much of a catch for me. Once I grew up, I learned to appreciate some aspects of Christmas, of course, but there aren’t many that special memories especially tied to Christmas.
Something nice did happen very close to Christmas five years ago, though! I had been thinking about getting a kitten and contacted an acquaintance who is a breeder. She said she had just sold the last of her current litter and wouldn’t have new kittens for a year or so. A few days passed and she called me again, saying that one buyer had actually changed their mind, so she had a kitten for me after all! That’s how I got my Turkish Van, Spring Roll. She was so cute back then (and still is) and I was so happy to have her!
8. What do you absolutely like the most about the Christmas season?- All the lights and decorations that really light up the city and everyone’s houses! Even if Christmas isn’t a very important holiday to me personally, seeing all those beautiful lights always fills me with joy.
18. Would you join a Secret Santa jumble at your work place?- Well, sure if I actually had an actual “work place”. I currently work with three people in secret and don’t have much of a job outside of all that, so it wouldn’t be a very interesting Secret Santa, I think.
21. Winter night or winter day?- Dark winter nights are the best! Especially when all the Christmas lights are on, as I mentioned earlier.

12. What would you like that your true love gave to you?- I just want to spend some quality time with her! Maybe we could go on a vacation, to some kind of a luxury spa or something. I have always wanted to go.
