Hi, Raven 💜 I've been reading about your MC's and I LOVE ADELIA SO MUCH SHE'S SUCH AN INTERESTING CHARACTER!!!! I was wondering if you could tell us more about her and Garreth? 🥹 Like how did they even become a thing? Or they would just be pining and pining and pining? 🤭 I saw she loves his curls 🥹 and what does he love about her? Will they eventually run a potions shop together and have a happy ending? Hello lovely Anon! 🥰 thank you for asking about my evil queen Adelia! I mean morally gray ofc.

Welcome to the Adelia fan club! 😂

She has so much to her that I haven’t been able to share because it would spoil. I am working on her fic though I promise. I have so many plans for her, or should I say she has many plans for me? She writes herself basically. 💅

So as for her and Garreth. She met Garreth in potions class. He was in awe for her instant skill in potions, and he was one of the first people she met who didn’t treat her badly or have connections to her past. He was the safety and fun she never had before. She had to be so proper before at the orphanage and he helps her relax a bit. 🥹

Garreth is the one pining for her. He is a huge simp. She is powerful, gorgeous, and sophisticated. She has the ambition to get things done, and helps him improve his own recipes and future career. Adelia doesn’t know about him. She deeply cares about him but doesn’t want him getting involved with her later crimes. Eventually as she proceeds into darkness she ends up manipulating and using him. 👀 😭

She does love his curls. The little “boing” they make when she plays with them. It’s also soft and soothing. She didn’t have anything comforting or soft in the orphanage and his hair and presence reminds her of a stuffed bear she had before her family was killed and she got dumped. ❤️ 🐻

While Adelia has told me she has a redemption she hasn’t told me what yet. I would really love for them to have a happy ending but things go wrong for a while for the pair of them, each falling into the dark. 🧪 😈

A potions shop would be adorable if she decides to move on from her deadly poisons in the end! ❤️ 💚

1. Who fell first and who fell harder?

Garreth fell first. That boy simped the moment she helped him with his potion and gave him advice with those bright green eyes and sweet voice.

But Adelia fell harder. But by the time she realized she loved him she had already hurt him, she had already made things worse for them both. 👀

10. Who likes playing with whose hair?

Adelia loves to play with Garreth’s curls, always ruffling it when she praises him. She loves watching them bounce around on his head when he’s excited. They are soft and she loves getting her fingers tangled up in them, pulling to see them bounce.

17. Borrowing clothes:

What Adelia doesn’t know won’t kill her. She can always get new ribbons or a new scarf that smells like her delicious apple perfume. It smells so nice. Garreth has always loved the smell of apples.

10 for Adelia?

Hello! Thanks for asking about Adelia, she is one of my favorite characters I have written. I have been gatekeeping about her quite a bit as her story is in the works and I love keeping her a mystery.

but i will answer questions about her and the one you chose is great.

10) does your mc have any special abilities? (legilimens, parsletongue, metamorphagus, etc) how do they choose to use these powers? did you give them powers for fun, or does it relate to their backstory/plot?

Adelia is a seer.

As mentioned in the first chapter of "The Darkness I Breathe" she sees the future as to who will adopt girls in the orphanage.

She doesn't yet understand this ability and it has not really manifested itself yet. We will have to see where it goes for her.

I don't know why I decided to make her a seer. I know Percival Rackham was and he used it for seemingly good reasons. I want to see if maybe Adelia can see something different.
