Me: ABSOLUTE COURTNEY. Invisimech all the way. Mechablazer is sweet but their dynamic just isn't that interesting to me. I understand why people ship them but Invisimech is so much more complex and unique. They will always be the relationship I want to see.
Also me: God I hope Mechablazer is a thing in future Dispatch sequels. I NEED to see Robert and Mandy get together. I need to see them be happy. I need to see this relationship grow only to fall apart when Robert's issues rear their ugly heads again. Mandy wants to save Robert so bad but the problems she's seen from him are only the tip of one massive ice burg. Now that Robert's back in the suit he's probably going to fall back into old patterns, patterns that have come from Robbie's terrible parenting and festered in years of trauma and loneliness. What happens when a de-powered Mandy is faced with a Robert who is suddenly or not so suddenly isn't just the down on his luck hero/ normal guy? What will she do when Robert becomes someone who doesn't want to be saved?
Or what about Mandy's issues? She's not exactly a great boss. Not to mention she's a functional alcoholic, which is definitely going to have some repercussions now that she's depowered. Oh, and then there's her desire to 'save' Robert. I would bet good money that Mandy is the type of person who fixes people as a way to avoid facing her own problems. Even if Robert manages to get his own problems under control? What happens when Mandy is done saving Robert? Where does that energy go? Will she break up with him like she did with Phenomaman? Or will Mandy finally have to look her problems in the face like the normal person she wanted so badly to be.
All of this doesn't even touch on Visi. If Mechablazer happens on a Villain! Visi playthrough then Visi is going to be absolutely haunting the narrative and the relationship. She is going to be in the room with them whether she actually is or not. And if it's a romanced Villain! Visi? Then everytime Robert and Mandy sleep together it might as well be a threesome because of how much space she is occupying in Robert's head.
