Mornings

I washed my face, changed my clothes and tell myself “I’m fine. Jesus got this.” I command myself over and over again until even with my heart crushed my body follows.

Its been a battle everyday.

I knew this wouldnt last forever. That depression is not endless. It could be long and excruciating but its not endless.

I may cry an ocean, scream with pain every waking morning and deal with tremors every now and then but I wont give up. God already won this battle. Men will step on my pride and my reputation but my God will fight for me.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

Ive never experienced this verse so alive and true. So I’ll hold on to Your Word God for You are ever Faithful. When You’re done with making me into the woman you wanted me to be.

Let me see Your face God. Let me live in Your peace.
