I’ve had a super busy week so sorry for the delay on asks. I’ve been working, baking tonnes of cake AND most importantly, I have got a new pet Hamster! His name is Houdini. He escaped on the first night I got him. He’s fine now, promise.

I also like to call him the shape, ‘cause he’s just this black little blob. Drew some of my boy hanging out with my other boy ‘cause I’m not able to really handle him much yet, though I want to sooo bad 😭 Need to let him settle in. Also, I decided to give the DbD cosmetic competition a go! Here’s my entry:

The Nurse (Sally Smithson)

It’s absolutely not intentional on her part

Either she phases in without realizing, or you didn’t hear her approach

The moment she realizes what she’s seeing, she freezes. Like fully still not moving a muscle, breath catching in her throat

Her first reaction is probably overwhelm, vulnerability hits her hard, both yours and her own

She looks away almost immediately, hands twitching at her sides like she doesn’t know what to do with them

Very quiet, shaky apology

If you tell her it’s okay, she hesitates before looking again, just a brief glance, like she’s afraid of staring

She’s painfully aware of every detail, but not in a hungry way necessarily

Her breath goes shallow and her voice gets even softer when she speaks

She doesn’t comment on your body directly, but she might whisper something honest like how beautiful you are without meaning to

Hands hover, never touch unless you actively invite her to

If you do invite her closer, she approaches slowly, carefully, like she’s stepping onto thin ice

The Plague (Adiris)

This is almost certainly accidental, and she’s immediately stricken with guilt for intruding on you

She turns away at once, covering her eyes or bowing her head, murmuring an apology

There’s a long pause where she doesn’t move

Adiris feels conflicted, a mix of wanting to admire you but also fear that she shouldn’t be seeing this

If you reassure her, she listens carefully asking to make sure you are truly fine with it

When she finally looks, it’s slow and hesitant, eyes running over your body softly

She doesn’t think in terms of desire first, she thinks more of devotion

She’s very aware of her own body in that moment, suddenly self-conscious, suddenly worried about contaminating you

Touch doesn’t come easily, even in this moment

Later, she absolutely prays about this moment. For guidance, for forgiveness, for gratitude

The Pig (Amanda Young)

Oh she did NOT expect that, at all

Immediate reaction is panic, freezes, brain fully short-circuits

Definitely turns away fast, muttering a very rushed, awkward “shit—sorry”

She’s flustered in a way that’s almost funny to you if she weren’t so embarrassed

Tries to act normal afterward but absolutely fails at it

Avoids eye contact for a bit, keeps adjusting her mask or clothes or fidgeting with her gear

Internally? Losing her mind. Externally? Acting like she didn’t just see you undressed

If you tease her even a little, she gets defensive and flustered

If you’re gentle about it, though, she relaxes, realizes you’re not judging her reaction

If you actually do it again (on purpose this time), she’s still awkward, still nervous, but clearly wants to be there

For Amanda, this is a huge step in intimacy
