Hellooo, What are the phantom troupe members' favorite pokémon type? ^v^

YES THIS ASK MAKES ME SO HAPPY  I can totally imagine a hxh pokemon crossover universe where the pokemon and their masters fight side by side and I jus t get excited about this au rip

I think that the whole “owners resemble their pets” things would definitely apply to the Phantom Troupe’s choice of Pokemon.

Chrollo would take a liking to dark types, legendaries, and any pokemon with unusual abilities.  For example, he’d probably treasure a Ditto as while not incrdibly powerful on it’s own, it’s ability to steal other’s moves would appeal to his nen.  He’d also take a liking to Mewtwo, a strong, intelligent, and one of a kind pokemon.  Pokemon with the ability to mega-evolve would also interest him.

Feitan would go for dark, ghost, and dragon type pokemon such as Giratina, Sableye, and Mismagius.  For some reason I also picture him walking around with a Marowok (him and Feitan’s armor abilities would make them bros).

Machi would prefer psychic and fighting types.  Gallade would definitely be her favorite as a go-to in battle and as a companion.  I could also see her as someone with a team of eeveelutions, favoring Umbreon and Espeon.

Shalnark would be surrounded by super cute normal types - like Audino and jigglypuff - just because he adores them, but when in battle he’d have a trusty Emporeon by his side (he originally chose a piplup and cared for it as it evolved).

Phinx takes a liking to intimidating pokemon, so would probably go for fighting and ground types, but wouldn’t be limited by type.  He keeps a Machamp and red Gyrados close to his side in battles.  (He also acts like a worried mom whenever they get hurt.)

Kortopi wouldn’t really take type into consideration; it would be a matter of compatibility with himself.  I could totally see him with a Tangrowth and Hitmonchan.

Kalluto would definitely be a fan of dark pokemon.  I also see him as someone who’d choose pokemon without evolutions.  Absol would probably be his favorite.

Nobunga would be a fan of psychic and fighting types, maybe with some normal types mixed in.  Alakazam would be his bff when it came to lead pokemon, followed by Fearow and Mienshao.

Franklin likes steel, rock, and ground types.  Pokemon with a hard exteriors like himself would appeal to him.  Steelix would be his most trusty companion, along with a Golem.

Shizuku prefers bug, poison, dark, and ghost types.  Her team would consist of cute but deadly pokemon, probably along the lines of Gengar, Venomoth, Ariados, and Gothitelle.  She may use a Drifblim to float around on.

Pakunoda would like poison and dark types, perhaps with some ice and flying in the mix.  She’d pick pokemon that appear strong, serene, and somewhat intimidating.  She’d start off with something like a Noctowl and eventually obtain an Arbok and Articuno as her favorites.

Uvogin loves fire types; he finds it fun to watch them burn his enemies.  Houndoom and Pyroar would be his go-to’s in battle, and he’d use Houndoom’s Mega Evolution far too often.

Bonolenov would be strictly into fighting types that display his passion for battle.  Lucario would make an excellent partner for him.

Hisoka would be drawn to more powerful pokemon that transcend type boundaries; he wouldn’t like how each type has such a definite weakness to specific others. Therefore, he’d probably attempt to capture legendaries.  He’d love to have Arceus and Darkrai under his belt.  Before the legendaries, he’d team up with something pretty and showy like Mr. Mime Vivillon or Rapidash, maybe a beedrill (bc of it’s megaevolution).  Might naturally lean more towards dark, fire, and poison types.

I'm an INTJ. I don't make friends easily but I'm very loyal to the ones I do have. I'm pretty reserved but super honest when you ask me about something. I'm also extremely sarcastic and rational and I hide my emotions well. Sometimes I come across as cold even though I'm not. I'm nervous like 100% of the time but I seem really calm and chill on the outside. And I'm going to pick Chrollo, Feitan, Hisoka, Machi, Pakunoda and Killua

As the leader of the troupe, loyalty is important to Chrollo.  He’d appreciate the way that you keep your cool, not showing your true feelings to those around you.  He’d value your honesty and rational thinking, probably leaving more important tasks and decisions to you over other troupe members.

Like Chrollo, Feitan would undoubtably respect the way you value your friends and stay loyal to those you care about.  He’d appreciate your rational mind and honesty; you’d be someone he would listen to and perhaps ask for advice.

Hisoka would find your honesty refreshing, and probably use it against you when playing his little games.  He’d try to break through your cold exterior and make you show your nervousness on your face.

You and Machi seem to share some personality traits with your rational minds and hidden emotions.  You’d probably be able to understand each other more than others on some levels and therefore work well as comrades in arms.  Your nervousness would confuse her however.

So I saw these on your blog and I really like them so is it okay if I request a character impressionʕ •ᴥ•ʔ? I normally have a pretty high tolerance and patience level. ENFP, Leo and sometimes that smart ass that slams down facts if I hear you saying something incorrect. I have an unnecessary knowledge of torture methods due to having a friend literally does nothing but talk about them. Feitan would be interested in your extensive knowledge of torture methods, and the two of you would probably end up having lengthy discussions on the matter.  He’d appreciate the way you don’t back down and your senses of humor would probably click.

Leorio would respect the way that you stand up for what you believe in and aren’t afraid to correct other’s ignorance.  Your sarcasm would piss him off and he’d yell at you but in his friendly kind of yelling bc pissed off way.

Kurapika would admire the way you care a lot about your culture and origins, as he does with his Kurta blood, and find it cute to see you interacting with animals.  Your patience and determination would lead the two of you to become fast friends.

Illumi may find your torture method knowledge intriguing, and possibly deem you useful enough to consult about such topics.  He’d respect the way you cherish your culture the way Kurapika would; Illumi feels the same way about his family name.

Character impressions♥ introverted and a polite person at first, when I have observed people enough I get very blunt+sarcastic, probably a bit rude, but I don't notice being rude myself. I love discussions+daydreaming. Insecure but I mask it with confidence/arrogance. Stubborn as hell, very curious, patient when I want to be. Phinks wouldn’t really know how to interact with you at first, due to his extroverted, straightforward nature.  However, as soon as you opened up more in front of him, your blunt/sarcastic remarks and stubbornness would cause the two of you to get into good natured arguments (the kind where you just fire off remarks at each other, Phinks being very loud and angry like while you appear calm and sassy).  Chrollo would enjoy partaking in intense discussions with you, because he’d like being able to throughly talk out queries and get your perspective on matters (not necessarily important things; it could be a simple work of art or something).  He would appreciate your attention to detail, and your smart ass sarcastic comments may occasionally bring out his smirk.  Shalnark would get along with you much as he gets along with everyone else, probably sticking a -chan on the end of your name.  He’d chide your sarcastic/cruel comments with something like “____ -chan, that’s not very nice of you” and like you best when you were in a dreamy/brooding state.  Your loyalty would mean a lot to all of the troupe members.  Hisoka would toy with your curiousity, leading you on with his words in order to get you hooked.  He’d be the best at shutting down your sarcasm with sass of his own, probably frustrating you in the process (your patience might help you here, but with Hisoka, it probably wouldn’t be able to sustain much aha).

I have a huge creativity and it usually shows up in weird thinking lines, that no one understand but me until I explain. I'm algo a big big contrast: my looks are way too delicate, with a really pale skin and a curly black hair - but my personality don't for the porcelain doll apearence. I'm agressive and get angry easly. Protective with others, I can(1/3)

get into fights (really) I can not win just to give a opportunity for others to escape. I have a sense of humor a little weird, making cruel jokes about myself and the people I like. With people I don’t know very well, it don’t happen, as I tend to act more polite. I’m impulsive and can be really hard to dela with, since I’m independent and don’t as for permission to anyone. Being raised to behave like a lady, I’m literally ladyish when calm or REALLY angry. I lie a lot, keeping things to (2/3) myself. Also like to manipulate people. Careless to myself, I get hurt a lot. Well, that’s the best description I can make about myself, haha. I would like the impressions of the adultrio + Feitan. Thank you so much <3

Chrollo would find you super endearing.  He’d be able to easily see through your almost tsundere personality, and appreciate your ladylike appearances.  However, your rashness would irritate him at times, as would any attempt to manipulate him.  Hisoka would especially enjoy ticking you off; he’d love your ability to go from complete calm to aggressive, and the expressions you make doing that.  I could see you wanting to fight him (probably trying to protect your friends from his pedophilic being), but he’d probably give a creepy smile, pat your head, and tell you that he promises to as soon as you’re strong enough.  Illumi would get annoyed with the way you pick fights that you can’t win, because that’s just completely impractical to him.  But once he’d witness you successfully manipulating others, he’d reevaluate your worth.  Feitan would admire the way that you defend the people close to you with your all, but get irritated when you bite off more than you can chew.  If you were in the troupe or in a position close to him, he’d probably be like an older brother, getting exasperated whenever you lose your cool, but always being there to help you get out of sticky situations.

While away from them, Feitan would become more irritable without realizing it. Becoming more snappish and short tempered, most of the troupe would catch on and try to give him some space.

He’d also act sort of pissed off when finally seeing them again as well, but wouldn’t know why (thus pissing himself off more).

He’d come to his senses and apologize to his s/o later, and then probably try to show his s/o how much he missed them in bed rather than with words.
