Neji headcanons with Neji and his S/O having a family

Would name a daughter Hiromi (prosperous beauty), Hitomi (Beautiful eyes), or something to remind him of Hinata’s name.

Would name a son Hizashi (After his father), Takehiko (Hero prince), Machio (Man on the correct path), or something to signify confidence and unconditional pride and love.

Would lead the Hyuga clan with kindness and honor, and be sure his wife was comfortable being in such a position especially if she was not already in the Hyuga clan/didn’t posses Byakugan.

Always the stern parent however always nervous that his children are scared of him and will do anything to ensure they feel comfortable using him as a father figure.

Enjoys family outings to go eat with Naruto and Hinata’s family at least twice a month so the children can have a relationship with their cousins Boruto and Himawari.

He dare not talk to his siblings aboutsuch conflict, he would never hear the end of it after all he had said in hispast about his blatant hatred for all humanity. Why was she an exception?

           He remembered herapproaching him before his team left for the Chūnin Exams in Konoha to wish him luck with the mission and to be safe,making a point to talk to him alone so he would know she was directing it athim and not just his team as a unit. It was this memory of her genuineexpression that sat so clear in his mind now, layering over Naruto’s words ofwisdom.

           “Dammit.” Hischest hurt, everything ached as his thoughts ran. He had to do something, itwas becoming worse as the days went on. The thoughts shifted from curiosity toyearning. The burning desire to simply be in her presence, talk with her orjust listen to her voice, maybe even touch her hair…

           He winced again. The pain localizing to his forehead scar so many tried to call a tattoo. Hegrimaced rubbing it and going back into a sitting position. There was somethingto be done, he had to talk to her before this killed him. Damn that Naruto, thetrip to The Leaf was supposed to be easy… Now here he was practically having anearly-life crisis. His fist connected with the roof he was on in frustration ashe thought of what he would possibly say to her when the sun rose in a fewhours, he never doubted his ability to do any tasks but this would be thehardest thing he ever attempted.
