So Weird in 2019

What a year this has been for the So Weird fandom! Here’s a list of exciting things that happened:

1. So Weird’s 20th anniversary was on January 18th. It was a fun week of prompts and many great submissions were made for the video celebration! The celebration is still happening on Twitter as each episode’s anniversary passes. Find submissions/tweets/posts/ under the hashtag #SoWeird20

2. We got to interview Jon Cooksey! 

3. We got to interview Chris Gibson & Alexz Johnson!

4. The So Weird Podcast finished reviewing every episode of So Weird! And we will continue with more cast & crew interviews as well as special episodes. 

5. After so many years of being neglected and forgotten, So Weird was selected as one of the shows to be on the new streaming platform, Disney Plus! Hundreds of people finally got the chance to rewatch this great show and now, it is available for a new audience and new generation. Our social medias have been so active (500+ new Twitter followers following the Disney Plus launch!) and the fandom is growing and growing. 

Phew!! What a list! Thank YOU for every read, listen, like, tweet, submission, comment, reblog, ect. This fandom has been keeping the faith for years and it’s great to look back and see what that has brought us. 

As always, connect with fellow weirdos on the various social sites. And thank you again for another year of So Weirdness.

submitting asks!

Hi!

i’ve received a few asks where people are saying that they are unsure of the rules and don’t know if they can ask for writing help!

i need to apologise because those rules are quite outdated and i’ve been meaning to update them so sorry for that! and yes it is totally okay to submit asks asking for writing help or tips! i will happily answer as best i can, in fact i’m answering a few right now as i write this post!

Disney Plus/So Weird Survey

Last month season 2 of So Weird was randomly removed from Disney Plus after only a month of being on there.

Three weeks later the season returned, but we never received a straight answer why it was removed or what made them put it back.

I made a survey to give us an idea how much effort it took for Disney to hear us (and to let us know what needs to be done if this issue happens again).
