Living stones. all these blogs are finally pushing me to wanna share this!
Living stones don’t have much to them, I’ve never done this before after all… but I wanted to try
They are stones creatures that used to be common practice to make, now a forgotten art. Many were made for everyday use. From a kids toy, a pet, farm work, transportation, or even as guards. Due to the abundance of stone surrounding these people’s carven home, there was an abundance of Stones left behind when they all disappeared. Many lay dormant without a bond to keep them active. They thrive off the bond they share with whoever shares them a small offering of themself
I would believe the offering needs to mean something to the offerer. You’re forming a long lasting bond after all

These are more examples of pets rather than, guards, or rides. As you see patterns on them, these are usually engraved into the Stone. But also I just wanted to keep them simple, for my sake, and for the adopters sake…

I try and keep their shape more blocky, but also able to move freely
Add patterns / engraved patterns. These are important, you may ask yourself “why?” Well I’ll show you
Once bonded with your Stone, said Stone’s patterns will glow in a color that represents a little bit of yourself onto the Stone
But it’s not just a simple one tone
Maybe along the way a little bit of themselves will shine through! Or like, whatever reason you want idk
