Is there anything better in all the world than a tree that turns pink in the Spring? I think not. Also, we got new tools! Trash pickers for life!
Who will we meet on our clean-up walk today?
SERVE Brew: From Hating Outreach to Living for It
Ps. Danny Gonzalez, founder of the East Valley Dream Center, grew up thinking he hated outreach, but what he didn't realize was that he was wired with a deep love for humanity. And it's by this love that he's gone all in to what outreach is all about and is now helping many others do the same.
Join this convo to hear all about how faithfully showing up with a grill to serve free hot dogs can lead to extraordinary encounters, new opportunities, a deeper understanding of peoples' needs, and ultimately - lives being changed.
AND... don't miss when Ps. Danny shares about their "Blessed Budget" classes, their "dependability delivered" mobile app, and their upcoming outreach conference "Waves"!

Adopt A Block - Turned Easter Outreach
Our monthly Adopt A Block was scheduled for this coming Saturday, but instead of ditching it, we decided to change things up.
We prepared Easter bags to be distributed through our grocery drive-through (reaching all of our regular AAB sites) so that there is no extra contact.
Inside each bag is a letter saying “Easter has a new look” and explains how to do church at home. It also includes our information and if they have needs to text us.
The bags themselves are bright and cheerful.
Inside each bag is the following:
1. A list of all our churches in this area with service times.
2. A golden egg with a couple of pieces of candy inside and (“fortune cookie” style) a slip of paper with a message of hope and a Scripture reference.
3. A card that shows families how to make “Resurrection Eggs” by getting creative and using stuff they have at home. There’s a Scripture reference for every egg; we’re just trying to put Jesus in every way we can for those who might not think about it.
