"Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game." -Babe Ruth · · TDLR at the bottom· · I've recently had some people reach out and ask how I got to where I am doing what I'm doing. The simple answer is, by just doing it. In a lot of these situations, there's always a "but" as to why they haven't done it or why what they have done isn't having the desired results. "But" nothing - if you want something you've never had, you have to do something you've never done. If it really is that important to you, you will find a way to be committed to being consistent and you will make the necessary sacrifices. There is no rest for the wicked when you are trying to build something from the ground up. This applies to personal as well as professional goals. · · The fear of failure can be crippling, but you've got to shift your mindset into knowing that failure and adversity are inevitable. It is on you to figure out how to adapt to and overcome it. Don't be a bitch, just do it. · · Fall in love with the process and bust your ass doing it every single day. Sure, you have a macro level goal, but what are you doing in the micro stages on a daily basis to accomplish those goals? Be honest: do your behaviors and actions reflect your goals? Did you actually work on something for an hour, or did you do it half-assed while watching tiktoks? · · It starts by just fucking doing it. Not to hold Nike's pockets, but they hit the nail on the head with that slogan. Just do it. An object in motion is much more likely to stay in motion than something stagnant not doing a damn thing. · Fuck a plan B. Be all in. If you give yourself a safety net, most people will find a way out when the going gets tough.
