on one hand i just do not vibe w the concept of either cas OR dean getting pregnant, even with my trans dean truthing i just think that's something he would never be able to do, i don't think he'd want to do it, i think even if he unlearns all his internal transphobia there are just some things that will cause too much dysphoria for him and that's it. and that's fine!

on the other hand. i want dean to hold babies in his arms and i think he would be SUCH a good dad and it's a fucking crying shame that all of his kids are already adults that he can't wrap up in blankets and strap to his chest in little bjorns 🥺

and like yeah he can hold sam and eileen's kids but i think dean deserves to prove to himself that he can be a good father, that he can be better than his father and his mother, in something that he chose to do, with a child he chose to have, i just think. he should get to have a kid

 I’m sure you did what was best for you and for the child given whatever circumstances you were in. That couldn’t have been an easy choice, and you are a very brave person for making it! One of my biggest fears is pregnancy and all of the strain it puts on a body, and I can’t imagine the emotional cost that must have taken. You are a very strong person. There are a lot of loving families out there who for one reason or another can’t have biological children, so I’m sure that they’re very grateful for the opportunity to grow their family.I hope you are doing well currently and that life brings you lots of joy in the future! Well, here's a sweet bit of news.

A friend of mine from undergrad and his lovely husband arranged to have a baby by a surrogate (I think; I don't know the precise details), and she was born between Christmas and New Year's, and their FB walls are just plastered with pictures of her with her daddies, and grammies, and uncles and aunts and "uncles" and "aunts."

That little girl is gonna be loved to pieces, I tell you what.
