Recently been thinking about if Rhett and Link actually ended up going to different colleges. Rhett goes to play ball somewhere in the south and Link goes to like Chapman’s in Cali for film school on a scholarship. RandL are both upset with the turn of events but they figure Link can start out in California, trying to make something happen, learn how to make movies, and Rhett will meet him out there in 4 years after he gets a couple national championships under his belt. Except... that’s not what happens. Rhett is miserable without Link and Link is learning a lot about himself in more liberal Cali and that maybe his and Rhett’s friendship is a little peculiar as far as platonic standards go, even if they are blood brothers. At the end of their freshman year, link decides to stay in Cali to be a PA on some dumb sitcom and Rhett is just crushed. Until link tells him to come out to Cali for the summer and he can crash on his couch while he looks for summer job in southern Cali. Rhett jumps at the chance, but seeing link in person after almost a whole year apart is a lot different then talking on the phone and exchanging emails. He forgot just how blue links eyes are, how tan he can get when he’s exposed to the cali sun day in and day out, how his dark hair has a red sheen to it in the setting sun. Ultimately, after a few weeks, things come to a head — Rhett is freaking out about the things he feels for his best friend and Link is anxious about broaching the topic with Rhett that he’s not straight and oh, by the way, Link’s in LOVE with him. Finally, at a party the go to with link’s friends, Rhett sees another guy talking to link. Rhett’s never seen anyone so blatantly flirt with someone of the same sex before and he’s taken aback that link isn’t appalled by it. Before he can think he’s rushed to link’s side and pulls him outside the party and just stares at him, all out of breath. Then he does the only thing he can think to do, he just kisses the hell out of him. Rhett’s shocked by how well Link responds and just. keeps. responding. Eventually they hump against the siding of the house that they are attending the party at. They’re real dramatic about admitting their undying love for one and other later that night. And Rhett ends up transferring to Chapman’s sophomore year. They work odd entertainment jobs and gigs together after college, until they hear about this YouTube thing in 2002. Then in 2008, when gay marriage is legalized in California, Rhett takes link back to NC for the first time in a long time just so he can propose at the Cape Fear River. They go back to Cali and get hitched. They post a vlog about it after and it’s their first video to break a million views. Okay, bye now. 👋

I love Link striking out on his own and learning so much about himself but still missing Rhett and the idea of Rhett sort of doing the opposite until he goes and sees Link and sees that change and gets walloped over the head with it.

According to my brain, after going around the world saving animals and transforming into animals and stuff for decades, they were offered a tv show for kids and Fordsie and Stanny were like Heck yeah! Animals!! And then a cartoon based on them was made. :3 Their great niblings eventually appeared in the program a few times~ They shared with their grunkles the same animal PASION! FUN FACT: The Kratt brothers are from NEW JERSEY! Coincidence? I think NOT!

Fey let out a tired sigh as she sat down, putting on her boots. She had just picked up her daughter from school and finished doing her homework with her. Now she was getting ready for work. Fey worked at a bar, it was long hours late at night and it did break her heart that she had to leave her so long with babysitters. 

“Ma, is Lottie coming tonight?” the five year old asked. “No, yer Auntie Roisin is watch’n ya tonight” Fey replied. “But she is boring” the little girl pouted. Truth be told Fey was rather worried. Her sister was late and Fey had to leave soon if she wanted to keep her job. After several angry texts it turned out that her sister was had cancelled on her last minute. Leaving her only one other person she trusted to watch her daughter. Fey picked up her phone and began to ring Lottie. “Lottie, I am so sorry to ask this of ya. But my my babysitter cancelled on me...”
