Were she to know how excited Alfred was, she could have played this as his Christmas gift and not obligation of tradition. That would have saved at least ten minutes of wrapping! Once he was down to a not neck craning level and she was certain there would be no glasses on glasses collision, he was given a light peck with just a trace of lipstick transfer. “There you go, happy Christmas and all that.”
