Pacman came back to the US last night, and much like his last trip - he wore black and won a pretty clear decision. This win was against a listless Adrien Broner, who never once threatened to win the fight.
Pacquiao wore black ANTA trunks with gold trim. If you look closely you can see a slight diagonal stripe texture in the black on the trunks.
He had PACQUIAO in white in a black and gold nameplate along the waistband, three stars down the left leg and his typical CAFE PURO ad on his right thigh. KEEP MOVING appeared down the right thigh and FIGHT ON was written down the left.
The seat of Pac’s trunks had the ANTA logo, a MOTOLITE ad on the waistband a couple of smaller adds on the back-legs.
Pac had standard red Cleto Reyes gloves (which lack a bit of imagination) and black and gold shoes with high white socks (not sure I’ve seen Pac wear high socks like these before).
Broner, despite a non-inspiring performance, had a decent look. He sported one of his standard gladiator looks in sequined white, gold and purple.
BRONER in white with subtle purple piping over a black nameplate across a gold waistband. The front of the gladiator trunks feature gold and purple chevrons over a white base, with a bejeweled AB on the bottom left. Actually really nice and subtle - we can obviously do with out the add across the top of course. The trunks had purple side panel flaps along each leg that appear to have ABOUT and BILLIONS, respectively, written vertically:
The back of Broner’s trunks raises a few questions:
What does the waistband say? Where is GOOSE COUNTRY? Why not throw more punches?
If you wanted to lodge a complaint you could point out that AB’s purple Cleto Reyes gloves (personalized with THE PROBLEM above the wrist) did not really match the bright purple in his trunks:
Broner rounded out his look with black and gold Nikes:
All in all, enjoyable looks from both guys - good visuals for the fans:
