Be loved by his friends, or love himself, or earn his father's love. Adrien's at a point where he's pretty sure he can only have one of those three things, but he's doing his best to juggle all three of them.
They aren't always compatible. He's doing his best, though.

Adrien begins to suspect that he deserves better, despite all evidence to the contrary. It's been two years since the first time he fully stood up to his dad, and maybe it's time to push the envelope a little further. Something in him is curious to see how easily his father will snap.
Nothing wrong with some good old-fashioned teenage rebellion, right?
(Adrien has no idea what teenage rebellion is. He's making it up as he goes along.)

Adrien angst fest! Teen celebrity life is not doing great things for Adrien’s physical and mental health. Emotional abuse leads to eating disorders lead to a physical abuse “slip up” and Adrien setting some boundaries. Doesn’t mean Adrien unlearns all his unhealthy routines in one night. Falling full tilt into teenage rebellion should help him figure that out.
Gabriel is an absolutely horrible (slightly crazed) human being but Adrien’s friends are 100% willing to be ride or die and help in in any way they can.
Adrien has several mental breakdowns in this, the HM motivation and identity reveal does not help.
Friendship focused, absolutely no romance in this one.

Suddenly her university dreams seemed smushed, well, that is until a fire in the apartment unravels some rather fascinating truths.
