@grafted and I (@clickreload) went down to our local comic expo as Marinette (grafted) and Adrien (me). We may...have also gone on a dinner date (we’ll be hitting the movies on Sunday). We were recognized more than I honestly thought we would be--and a lot of times it was by kids! Which is always awesome.

So I’m started a little multichapter fanfic. Probably only 4 or 5 chapters. My writers block is still firmly in place for my original stories but I keep getting fanfic ideas. I guess i’m a fanfic writer now. XD. Never thought that would happen but hey, it feels good to write again even if it’s with characters I didn’t create.

Chapter 1 The day started off normal like any other day if not better than normal My dreams of flashing lights and runways was rudely interrupted by my alarm. Half tempted to hit the snooze button and roll back over but then I would be running late. Hitting the off button then peeling my blanket of me while swinging my legs off the bed, stretching my arms over my head as I stumbled into the bathroom. Emerging out of the bathroom 10 mintues later wrapped in towels and smelling like vanilla. Then, slipping into a pair of light blue capris and a light pink t-shirt before walking over to a resting Tikki. “Wake up Tikki, we’re heading out soon” I said while grabbing my purse and walking over to my vanity. The past years I’ve she’d some of my baby fat, my cheeks somewhat more define, lips alittle fuller, and my blue eyes bigger. Swiping a few coats of mascara and some chap stick before Tikki flew over. “We might want to leave soon Marinette” she said then flying into my purse. Making a quick decision on grabbing a dark gray jacket before heading downstairs. Mom was waiting with a bag of cookies and kiss me on the cheek and said good morning which I returned. Leaving through the bakery to tell papa good morning then heading to school. Arriving to school in one piece and avoiding Chole was a miracle. You would think over the years that the girl would change, nope she didn’t. Sitting in homeroom Alya was talking about ladybugs fight yesterday. Me already knowing about it for being in the fight, but she doesn’t know that, I was half listening and would throw in a occasionally nod. “Morning Alya, morning Mari” Nino said plopping into his seat followed by Adrien. Over the years since I was 14 I got better talking to him but my crush on him still strong. After exchanged greetings the bell rung cutting the conversation short. Finally! The last bell before lunch went off. “Mari are you still joining me, Nino, and Adrien for lunch or do you have to go back to the bakery” alya asked while we walked out of the class room. “That’s the plan but let me drop of my books of at my locker, I’ll met you out front” “Sure thing girl I’ll make sure Nino and prince charming wait too ” she said with a wink and was off. Making my way to my locker and fighting the blush on my face. Putting in the combination and opening it up about to place my books down I saw a cars laying on the shelf. Picking up the note and placing the books down in its spot, I looked around before reading the note. ‘Shhhhh… Can you keep a secret?’ It was written in a black curvy font on a blank white card. Sparking my curiosity I opened it up. ‘You are invited’ Oh… it’s not a note just an invitation ‘To my (Juleka) masked costume party on August 20’ That’s in 2 weeks I can find a costume by then. It listed the address and a phone number but underneath it said. ‘But really keep it a secret P.S. Marinette if you want you can bring some treats but if you come it will make you forget about him or make him notice you.’ Wait who’s him- “Mari you done yet it’s been like forever” I turned to see Alya in the doorway, putting the card into my purse. “Sorry was a little distracted” I closed my locker and walked over to Alya. Who just said “distracted in your own little world”. ________________________________________________________ Sorry this took so long!
